Thus it is said, to be close by means of action. The distinction of gathering all noble beings, gathered by the first moment of arising, is like the example of a minister. Because of being truly associated with the Prajnaparamita and all noble dharmas, this is indeed close to the great Bodhi and so on. Why is that? It is said that all dharmas are without grasping and without attachment. As it is said: "Being close without grasping onto form and without attachment, up to not grasping onto all-knowingness and Tathagata-nature, and not being attached." What is said is the uncommon reason for the Buddha's realization. The distinction of being known by the distinction of a person, gathered by the second moment, is what is said: "That is subtle, virtuous, wise, and to be known by discernment." Among them, subtle is because it enters into the meaning of suchness. Virtuous is because it enters into the meaning of inability, closely grasping what is as it is and as it should be. Those are also of two kinds: those who have previously matured their minds, and the wisdom obtained by individual beings through birth, being wise and seeing the truth, possessing the ability to enter into both of those meanings, because they possess the knowledge of entering into both of those meanings. The distinction of being uncommon, gathered by the third moment, is that the number of sentient beings in the three-thousand great-thousand world realms follow with faith, up to becoming Pratyekabuddhas, with wisdom and abandonment, generating faith in this and so on, is what is said to be supreme. The distinction of quick realization, gathered by the fourth moment of arising, is what is said: "This is an excellent and vast Dharma, and those who strive in this with other vehicles will quickly attain Nirvana." The distinction of being without decrease and increase, gathered by the first moment of cessation, is what is said: "All sentient beings will eventually completely enter into the peace of unsurpassed perfect enlightenment."

Moreover, what is said about this, with the greatness of neither decreasing nor increasing? The distinction of practicing intensely and truly, summarized by the second instant, is: What is said about the example of a cow not abandoning its calf, having hearing together with faith and so on, and having hearing is entering into the previous hearing and so on? The distinction of true accomplishment, summarized by the third instant, is: What is said about that itself relying on many Buddhas, passing away from Tushita and being born here itself, and conversely falling into the other two noble grounds? The distinction of the object, summarized by the fourth instant of cessation, is: What is said about the example of a ship breaking in the ocean, the agents with and without interruption, etc., are in terms of abiding in the characteristic of attaining omniscience itself, with the meaning of transcending the ocean of samsara? The distinction of the basis, summarized by the first instant of the path, is: What is said about the example of not abandoning and abandoning the pot, with the meaning of showing the nature of not being the basis of the Dharma of practice and being the basis? The distinction of non-imperfection and non-existence, summarized by the second instant, is: What is said about the example of the leaking ship in the ocean not being repaired and being repaired, with the meaning of showing the imperfection and perfection of practice? The distinction of complete grasping, summarized by the third instant, is: What is said about the example of an old and weak person, with the cause of acting together, with the wisdom of the perfection of wisdom and skillful means completely grasping and not completely grasping, thereby showing falling and not falling into the extremes of samsara and nirvana, etc.? The distinction of not tasting flavors, summarized by the fourth instant of the path, is: What is said about the fact that all phenomena are without inherent existence, therefore there is no supreme attachment to all phenomena, and with the absence of desire itself, the roots of virtue are transformed into the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, and one should rely on it, etc.? What is the meaning of what was just said in prose, that is summarized in verse as follows: Inconceivable and unequal, Truly beyond measure and number.
