The complete purification of is what is spoken of by complete purification itself. For the Dharma-knowledge of arising (Skt: samudaya), like the sky, there is no contamination from form to omniscience, so this is what is spoken of in the form of non-contamination. For the forbearance of subsequent knowledge of arising, like the sky, it is spoken of in the form of being ungraspable from form to omniscience. For the subsequent knowledge of arising, by the example of two sounds and images, like the sky, there is no expression from form to omniscience, so for that, it is spoken of in the form of no expression, the meaning of negating the nature of expression. The example of two sounds is given for the sake of conforming to the meaning of questioning and answering by the listener and the speaker. For the forbearance of Dharma-knowledge of cessation (Skt: nirodha), like the sky, it is unspeakable from form to omniscience, so in the form of thorough expression, it is what is spoken of by preventing the attainment of that meaning in other continuums, because speaking to others is thorough expression. For the Dharma-knowledge of cessation, like the sky, there is no object of focus from form to omniscience, so this is what is spoken of in the form of no object of focus. For the forbearance of subsequent knowledge of cessation, like the sky, from form to omniscience, because of being extremely completely pure, there is no birth and death, and no defilement and purification, so this is what is spoken of in the form of being extremely completely pure. For the subsequent knowledge of cessation, holding it, retaining it, reciting it, and properly attending to it, eye diseases and so on will not occur, and the gods will also follow it, and showing this, there also on the eighth, fourteenth, and fifteenth days, showing it, because of the increase of merit, on those days, what is spoken of is the reason why the gods make offerings and the viewing abides closely. For the forbearance of Dharma-knowledge of the path, Subhuti, for him, the jewel of Prajnaparamita is this, from...
