It is for the purpose of practice. If many meanings are examined, one example is sufficient. For the time being, the word "path" is used to draw later examples from earlier ones. However, what is the meaning of the "path" mentioned at the end? It is to draw other examples to understand that those noble beings abide in bliss in the Dharma they have seen. So why are other examples not mentioned? Because those who abide in bliss in the Dharma they have seen are meant to understand the nature of the lineage gathered by various natures. If examples are given separately, many examples would have to be given, and one would become unskilled in explanation, and this is the meaning of the words here. What is said, such as "like the monks Shariputra and Maudgalyayana," should be connected with "those who are in accordance with the realization as it is said." What is the meaning of saying extensively, such as "not even close to one in a hundred"? This is to show the difference in the number of bodhisattva's wisdom cultivated in one day, the difference in power, the difference in lineage, the difference in cause, and the state of being beyond example. Among them, from "not even close to one in a hundred" to "number" is the difference in number. Counting without distinction is to understand that counting is different from this. When "hundreds" and other distinct things are mentioned, mentioning numbers without distinction is to understand that the number is only the difference in the cause contained within. Mentioning "koti" and so on is to understand the order of many wisdoms. As for "also," it is the difference in power. As for "countable," it is the difference in lineage, because the lineage of bodhisattva's wisdom is uncountable. As for "cause," it is the difference in action, because that wisdom will not even become the cause of this. As for "not even close to example," it is the state of being beyond example. Also, which bodhisattva is referred to here? It refers to those bodhisattvas whose wisdom has such qualities when cultivated in one day. What and

Or generating Bodhicitta, or entering into practice, or non-retrogression, or being bound by one lifetime. For the time being, the fourth is not the case, because it is said that the tenth Bhumi is the Tathagata himself. What does it mean? Because it is close to the deeds of the Tathagata, it is called the Tathagata, not because it has comprehended the mind of the Tathagata. The third is also not the case, because on the eighth Bhumi, the Nirvana with intention is prevented, so the wisdom (of the Bodhisattva) is more excellent than all the Shravakas. Alas, son of the king, you should believe, you should comprehend. If the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, had not caused the Bodhisattva to enter the gate of direct realization, then he would pass into Nirvana at that time. Again, what kind of Nirvana is that? If it is the Nirvana of the Shravakas, then it is temporarily unreasonable, because the intention to desire the Nirvana of the Shravakas has been completely abandoned for a long time since the generation of Bodhicitta. If it is said to be the Nirvana of the Buddha, then it is also unreasonable to abandon it through cultivation. This should be forgotten. In this teaching, many kinds of Nirvana are established. For example, for those who have attained the peak, explaining the roots of virtue is Nirvana. Those who have attained forbearance are the Nirvana of evil destinies. For those who have attained Samadhi, those limbs are Nirvana. Those who have entered the stream are the Nirvana of the eighth existence. Once-returners are the Nirvana of the second existence here. Non-returners are the Nirvana of the desire realm. Arhats are the Nirvana without remainder of aggregates. Here, too, taking the Lotus Sutra of the Good Law as the standard, just as the establishment of the Nirvana of the Shravakas was proclaimed to the great Bodhisattvas such as the venerable Shariputra, so too, the intentional Ni
