This is the syllable "Earth." May it appear at all times through the power of aspiration and bliss. This is a complete dedication. Then, in order to dedicate to all sentient beings in common, it is said, "May all sentient beings be happy, may all be free from harm." It means that, relying on the enjoyment arising from faith and its power of merit, may all sentient beings belonging to the five realms be free from the harm of discord and possess perfect enjoyment of happiness. This is a dedication without reservation. Or, "Praised by the Thus-Gone One, may desires be perfectly fulfilled." It means that, furthermore, may sentient beings be satisfied with the happiness of enjoying things without any prohibitions, through the enjoyment praised by the Buddha. This is a complete dedication. Or, "Of all sentient beings, may aspirations be fulfilled as desired." It means that, furthermore, may sentient beings be satisfied with obtaining things as desired, like the wish-fulfilling tree and the wish-fulfilling jewel. This is a complete dedication. Thus, the first is to be free from the fault of harm, the second is to be satisfied with desires without prohibitions, and the third is that aspirations will be fulfilled as desired. This is a dedication without reservation. Thus, after showing the common dedication, the special dedication is shown. "The harm of animals eating each other, may those harms all be gone." It means that, all sentient beings of the animal realm, due to their own karma, see each other as food, etc., and therefore the harm of killing each other in their minds, may these be cut off, may there be no harm to each other, and may they have a compassionate heart. This is a complete dedication. "The suffering of hell beings, unbearable various forms." It means that, due to the ripening fruit of their own karma, growing through the power of seeds, the extremely unbearable intense suffering, the hells oppressed by extreme cruelty, all the hot and cold hells, through the blessing of giving merit, that is, when giving merit

May the merit of generosity be fully dedicated, and by the power of contentment, may they quickly be pacified! This is the complete dedication. Thus, with this special dedication, may the sentient beings of the three lower realms be separated from their respective sufferings, and in the world of the happy realms, may the bodies of gods and humans be manifestly accomplished, and because the path of karma is without fault, may it surely occur. This is the complete dedication. Thus, after showing the dedication without grasping, then the gods and so forth, which are summarized into eight, and the non-humans who manifestly display the magical powers of their own bodies, who make the lives of sentient beings unpleasant, harm, and weaken them, relying on the earth or space and so forth, with thoughts of hatred and so forth, wandering everywhere at night and so forth, for the sake of turning back from that, may they be completely dedicated. Those who dwell on the earth or in the sky, gods, nagas, yakshas, gandharvas, and the many spirits who dwell there, may their virtuous thoughts be perfected! This means that those who arise from their own afflictions, the thoughts of harming that dwell near, may those thoughts be completely perfected, thinking to be separated from evil, this is the complete dedication shown for the sake of turning back. Thus, having been satisfied by the generosity of material things, in order to turn back from their own non-virtuous deeds, then the generosity of the Dharma should also be widely practiced, this is what is said. Here, this is only shown as a mere representation, that is, "All dharmas arise from causes" and so forth. Among them, dharmas are the dharmas that have become fruits, that is, all dharmas, that is, those that ripen in the lower realms and happy realms and so forth. Those are the fruits born from the causes of their respective karmas, it should be understood with reason. In order to understand it definitively and eliminate doubt, that is, "That cause was spoken by the Thus-Gone One." That is, the cause of the lower realms and so forth arises from evil, the Thus-Gone One, who has become the measure for all things, has also said. Therefore, cause and effect, if one does not exist, the other does not arise, therefore it is established as existing. Similarly, evil and virtue are also mutually contradictory,
