For example, it is said that just as fruit comes from a vigorous seed and so on. What is an impure cause? That is, the Bhagavan said in the Vajramala Tantra: "Lord of Secrets, listen! There are three types of misconduct of the body, four types of misconduct of speech, and three types of misconduct of mind. These will cause sentient beings to fall into hell." Vajrapani asked: "How many types of misconduct of body, misconduct of speech, and misconduct of mind are there? Please explain, Bhagavan, please explain, Sugata." The Bhagavan replied: "Lord of Secrets, misconduct itself is divided into heavy and ordinary. Among them, killing and beating parents and gurus, etc., are heavy misconduct. The paths of non-virtuous actions such as killing are ordinary misconduct. What is misconduct of speech? Abandoning the sacred Dharma, speaking harsh words to the gods, and speaking evil words to parents and gurus, etc., are heavy misconduct of speech. Some people, when someone diligently practices with faith and creates virtuous deeds, say 'there is no afterlife,' etc., and obstruct virtuous deeds with such transcendent lies, and speaking frivolous words, slandering, and speaking of the paths of non-virtuous actions are ordinary misconduct of speech. Misconduct of mind is when one abandons the guru, parents, and sentient beings who have entered the Mahayana, and harbors malice and harmful thoughts towards the perfectly enlightened Buddha, which is heavy misconduct of mind. Harboring malice and harmful thoughts towards ordinary sentient beings such as animals is ordinary misconduct." Thus it is said. Therefore, since the result follows the cause, one should engage in virtue and turn away from non-virtue. Now, in order to dispel the confusion of those who are attached to names, we shall enter into some names of the ultimate truth. First, light.

Clarity, all is emptiness, no things, no appearances, no self, nirvana, no life, no person, no protection, no birth, no cessation, no letters, no words, unspeakable, inconceivable, infinite, countless, beyond the senses, no place, no characteristics, unconditioned, no signs, inexhaustible, unobstructed, One suchness, peaceful, equal to the sky, naturally pure, without beginning, without middle, without end, without going, without coming, not far, not near, thus it is a difficult place to realize. Therefore, in the Guhyasamaja Tantra it is also said: The mind of enlightenment is like the place where the wisdom of all Tathagatas arises without arising. This mind of enlightenment does not abide in the body, does not abide in speech, does not abide in mind. Whatever dharma does not abide in the three realms, it has no birth and no cessation. This is the place where wisdom arises. Like this, Primordially peaceful and unborn, The nature of reality is pure, Those with childish minds, Discriminate between existence and non-existence. It is said like this. Therefore, ordinary people from beginningless time have been disturbed by false distinctions and slanders, and those with perverse views find it difficult to realize the meaning of the clear light of the pure realm of reality, so one should contemplate the complete purification of illusion. If the aggregates, elements, and sense bases are fully known as images, then one will not be attached to the measure of objects. Thus, it is also said in the Ashtasahasrika Prajnaparamita Sutra: Subhuti said, sons of gods, I say that Nirvana is like a dream and like an illusion. Even if there is another dharma that is superior to Nirvana, it is also like an illusion and like a dream. It is said like this. Similarly, in the Mother of the Buddhas Sutra, it is also said: From the form to the wisdom of all aspects, it is like an illusion and like a dream. Thus, the Wisdom Vajra Samuccaya says, yoga

It is also said in the Great Accomplishment Tantra: The great yoga accomplishment born of mind and mental factors is the samadhi of great bliss. This can be approximated by the analogy of illusion. Therefore, all the Tathagatas in the Buddha-fields as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River are like illusions, like reflections of the moon in water, like cataracts, like mirages, like dreams, like echoes, like cities of gandharvas, like magic, like rainbows, like lightning, like water bubbles, like reflections in a mirror. These twelve analogies of illusion can approximate the samadhi of great bliss. Likewise, all the Tathagatas abiding in the ten directions of the world, until the end of samsara, abide in the samadhi of illusion, benefiting sentient beings from Buddha-field to Buddha-field. The Glorious Guhyasamaja Tantra also says: O Bhagavan, all the Tathagatas do not think, "I shall see dreams in the three realms." Nor do they think, "I have seen dreams." All the activities of the three realms are like dreams, similar to dreams, born from dreams. Likewise, all the Tathagatas, Bodhisattvas, and sentient beings are like dreams, without self, without life, without person. It is also said in the Elephant Strength Sutra: Shariputra, what do you think? Does the one who knows the nature of all dharmas exist or not? He replied: O Bhagavan, the one who seeks the nature of all dharmas is seeking the nature of illusion. Why is that? Because the Bhagavan has taught that all dharmas are of the nature of illusion. It is also said in the Sutra of the Meeting of Father and Son: In a perfectly pure mirror, how do images without inherent existence appear? Likewise, understand trees and all dharmas. It is also said in the Sixty Stanza Reasoning: If one sees things as images with the eye of wisdom, then those great beings will not be attached to the mire of objects.
