The conceptual thought that appears as two, and the non-conceptual that is without two, although they are used to affirm and negate, in the wisdom of that very nature, even when not realized, it is non-dual with the essence of the meaning itself, that is, union. The venerable lama said that even at the time of realization, it is union. Even at the time of attaining the result, the Great Seal, it is the same. Therefore, that which does not change at all times is the unconditioned. The Great Seal that possesses such qualities, realizing it in this way is the view. Meditation is to remain without the mind wandering from that very moment, that is: There is no meditator, meditation is also extinguished, Because there is no deity, mantra also does not exist, From the nature free from elaboration, The deity and mantra also truly abide. As it is said, the Great Seal itself, non-conceptual, does not desire any contrived meditation that is specifically focused, because it is the essence of all. Therefore, one should meditate without interruption in the four activities, without distraction. Furthermore, it is said: Like a river flowing continuously, Like the tip of a burning flame, Following the truth of the mantra, Attain constant and uninterrupted samadhi. As it is said, without the state of meditative equipoise and post-meditation, one should know all phenomena as the essence of that very nature. One should familiarize oneself with it. Furthermore, There is no meditator, There is no differentiated meditation, There is also no object to be meditated upon, One should meditate on the suchness of that. As it is said, there is no meditator, no object to be meditated upon, and nothing to be done for the sake of meditation, one should abide without distraction in that very nature. Meditating without distraction in that very nature, all conceptual thoughts arise suddenly, relying on other conditions, but they are not born from their own nature or essence. When the conditions for conceptual thought have not yet gathered, the wisdom that is not defiled by conditions, the unconditioned original nature, free from imputation and denial, is the Great Seal. From that, the subsequent wisdom that arises, defiled by conditions, is such that if examined, there is nothing to be identified. Therefore, it is said, "The fourth is also the same," one should understand it as before, the fourth is defiled by the conditions of subsequent realization. The term "that" refers to the unconditioned original wisdom that is not defiled by conditions. The term "again" refers to the subsequent wisdom with conceptual thought, which is gathered into the former. The term "the same" refers to the moment when appearance or conceptual thought arises.

One should know it as the nature of the higher. Therefore, one should not obstruct the senses from their objects, but should know all that appears as that nature. If one analyzes whatever thoughts arise with reason and makes them without self-nature, it becomes inferior. For example, having tasted the taste of amla, one knows it as sour as soon as one sees it. Sourness itself is amla, and amla itself is known as sour. Similarly, having practiced and realized through scripture, reason, and the guru's instructions, one later knows that the appearance of things themselves is emptiness, and emptiness itself is known as appearance. Therefore, one should be without separation. It is said: "Why not meditate with the mind, but meditate on all beings? If one fully knows all dharmas, then meditation itself is not meditation." Therefore, to rest without straying from that itself is meditation. Also, in the Doha, Arrow Master said: "Alas, abandon whatever is false, and let go of whatever you are attached to. Once realized, everything is it, and no one can know anything other than that." Therefore, all that appears in various ways is mind itself, and when one realizes that mind itself is without any attachment, one should know and meditate on whatever happens in that way. There are also three examples for meditation: clear water, a jewel placed in water, and becoming clear by not being disturbed. Similarly, stopping all thoughts, and meditating on antidote wisdom in order to abandon thoughts of the unfavorable side, is artificial meditation. Just as water becomes clear naturally when it is not disturbed, knowing the nature of all things as they are and resting without fabrication is the meditation of Mahamudra. With such knowledge, whatever one does, transforming it into that nature is conduct. There are also three types of conduct: conduct with elaboration, conduct without elaboration, and conduct that is extremely without elaboration. Among these, conduct with elaboration is conduct with signs. Conduct without elaboration is conduct such as secrecy. Conduct that is extremely without elaboration is not taught other than in Mahamudra, therefore, whatever conduct is grasped by it, whatever is done, is conduct.
