Even the earth or the sky, etc., will not change into something that is not Suchness. Suchness is the ultimate truth, but suffering is not the ultimate truth, because it is inferior to it. We say that suffering is the ultimate truth because of non-reversal. Therefore, the Blessed One said "the truth of suffering," and Vasubandhu also said, "Two are the truths of the noble ones, and two are the truths of the non-noble ones." If someone says that, it is not correct. Because: For the hearers to enter, Suffering, etc., are said to be true, Even if they are not, out of compassion, It is like saying "I exist." This is because the Blessed One knew that the hearers were of little diligence and could not enter the great conduct of the Bodhisattvas, so with a mind endowed with great compassion, even though suffering, etc., were not true, he spoke of them as true. In this way, these people, with mere faith, meditate on suffering, etc., and attain uncontaminated wisdom, gradually freeing themselves from the desire of the three realms, and thus attain the knowledge of knowing exhaustion and non-rebirth, that is, having done what should be done, having accomplished what should be accomplished, and completely passing into nirvana in the realm of uncontaminated wisdom. Moreover, again being properly encouraged by the rays of the Tathagata, their roots of virtue are fully ripened, and before long, they will accumulate the accumulation of merit with a host of emanations, enter the realm of non-duality, and with the accumulation of wisdom that realizes all samadhis, enter the unsurpassed ultimate, and attain the state of entering. Furthermore, if these people take it literally, then, because it is also said "I exist," I will also become Suchness. That teaching also does not have the fault of being spoken of in a reversed way, because speaking with intention for the sake of need is itself accomplishing qualities. For example, in order to rescue the children living in a blazing house, what fault is there in the father showing an empty hand? Things to be done

It is through the power of thought that virtue and non-virtue arise, which will be explained below. Alternatively, if it is the cause of attaining the state of non-reversal, then suffering and so on are said to be true. For example, the arising of the Buddhas is true. Therefore, if it is said that the truth of suffering and so on is not true, then that is the answer to that question. This is not something that we explain merely by moving a finger that has been used to ignite a fire with firewood, but rather, the Blessed One himself said in the Sutra of the Samadhi of the Seal of the Wisdom of the Tathagatas: "When abiding in Bodhi, if even one truth is not seen as it is, what need is there to mention others?" And in the Holy Dharma Collection Sutra, it is also said: "The unborn is the truth, other dharmas are not true." Furthermore, this meaning is also found extensively in other sutras, so why do you revile us who follow the teachings of the Buddha? As it is said in the Commentary on Valid Cognition, what we have said is also following and explaining it in a way that does not contradict validity, is it not? This is because it is through the cause admitted by the tirthikas that the non-momentary is negated, and by showing the profound way, even the momentary is negated, so there is no fault whatsoever. Similarly, the venerable Nagarjuna and others also, by showing the ultimate truth and the conventional truth, made it clear that the truth and the other truth themselves are understood.

Also, in the Great Request Sutra, it is said: "The beginning and the end are empty, the objects of arising, ceasing, and abiding are empty, the nature of objects is non-existent, and the non-existence of objects is also non-existent, all phenomena are of the nature of emptiness." Also, in the Holy Samadhi King Sutra, it is said: "For example, if a person seeking the essence from a mass of wet wood searches everywhere, he will not find any object inside or outside. Know that all phenomena are like that." Also, in the Collection of True Dharma Sutra, it is said: "What is appropriate attention? What is inappropriate attention? It is said: Non-arising is appropriate, and such is appropriate attention." Also, that sutra says: "All phenomena are the root gate, because they are free from death, passing away, and birth. All phenomena are the nature gate, because they have embraced the emptiness of nature." Also, in the Father and Son Meeting Sutra, it is said: "These phenomena are equal in the equality of the three times. All phenomena of the past time are those that are free from nature. All phenomena of the future and present times are empty of nature." Also, in that sutra, it is further clarified: "All phenomena are empty of nature. Whatever phenomenon has no object is not past, not future, not present. Why? Because there is no object, it cannot be established as past, it cannot be established as future, it cannot be established as present." Similarly, in the Entering the Two Truths Sutra, it is also said: "Furthermore, Manjushri, what is the correct conduct? Manjushri said: Son of the gods, it is equal to the ultimate truth, and suchness, and the realm of dharma, and the unborn, and equal to the five without interruption." Thus, after extensively explaining that all defiled and purified dharmas are of equal nature, he further said: "Furthermore, Manjushri, what is the pure equality between the ultimate truths? Are all dharmas equal to that? Manjushri said: Son of the gods, in the ultimate truth, all dharmas are the equality of the unborn, in the ultimate truth, dharma
