To the countless assemblies of Bodhisattvas who appear like the sun and shine like the moon, I prostrate and take refuge. To the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened Buddha, glorious Shakyamuni, I prostrate and take refuge. To the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, the noble Manjushri, Vajrapani, Kyabdro and others, I respectfully prostrate and take refuge. To Indra, the lord of the gods, and the four great kings, and all the protectors of the sacred Dharma, I prostrate and take refuge. To the great Yaksha commanders, such as Jiji, and the twelve great Yaksha commanders, I prostrate and take refuge. To all those noble assemblies, I offer bathing water and unguents, flowers and incense, lamps and food, music and cymbals, umbrellas and banners, and whatever else is actually available. And all the holy substances of gods and humans in the ten directions that are not possessed by anyone, all the perfect instruments of happiness, and the power of mantras and vidyas, and the excellent clouds of offerings generated by the power of faith, arising from the aspiration of conduct, all that is bounded by the oceans and extends to the limits of space, all that belongs to the realm of Dharma, I fill and offer in abundance. I offer. By the name of so-and-so, and by us, from beginningless time, in all lifetimes of samsara, all sinful and unwholesome actions, in short, what should not be done, we have done, and what should be done, we have not done, and all actual sins, we thoroughly confess. I rejoice in all the merits of the Buddhas of the three times and of all ordinary beings. I urge all the Victorious Ones of the ten directions to turn the unsurpassed wheel of Dharma. I request all the lamps of the world who wish to show the manner of passing into nirvana, not to pass into nirvana, but to benefit the world and remain for a long time. Please listen, Bhagavan, great assembly. Please, compassionate Bhagavat, in the last of the future five hundred years, a semblance of the sacred Dharma will arise.
