What has been done should be written down. On the outer perimeter, kusha grass should also be spread around. Above, silk should be well spread, and it should be carefully and diligently decorated with garlands of flowers, banners, five-colored silk ribbons, and mirrors. This is auspicious for the empowerment ceremony. Then, take a thread of five colors, bless it with the mantra of the nectar homa, and use it to encircle the area, starting from the door. Then, draw the mandalas with powders of five colors, namely white, red, yellow, green, and black. Within the drawn mandala, starting from the direction of the powerful one, draw the mudras of Drabida and others in order. The mudra of Drabida is a three-pronged vajra. The vajra of the great Tummo is a single-pronged vajra. The shape of the powerful one is said to be in the shape of a grain of barley. The weapon of glorious invincible should be made into a three-pronged vajra. The vajra cross of Vajra Vidarana is said to have no outward-facing prong. The vajra cross of Vajra Yangpa is beautifully decorated. The vajra of the child Kili Kili is a single-pronged vajra. The vajra of the supreme essence should be made into a three-pronged vajra. All these mudras should be characterized by their qualities, be powerful, and be placed on a throne. After drawing the mudras of Drabida and others well, stand up and go outside. Outside the mandala, arrange the directional deities. In the east, draw the vajra of Indra. In the fire direction, draw the hearth of fire. In the south, draw the staff of Yama. In the direction of the Truth-departed, draw the sword of the Truth-departed. In the west, draw the noose of the water god. In the wind direction, draw the banner of wind. In the north, draw the staff of Kubera. In the direction of the powerful one, draw the trident of the great powerful one. The moon is drawn in the east and made white. The sun is drawn in the west and made very red. The mudra of the earth god is a vase, drawn above the noose. These directional deities should also be offered with their respective retinues. The retinue of Indra is the gods. The retinue of fire is the sages.

Those are the retinues. The retinue of Yama is the Matrikas. The retinue of those who are devoid of truth is the Rakshasas. The retinue of the water god is the Nagas. The retinue of the wind god is the Vidyadharas. The retinue of the son of Vaishravana is the Yakshas. The retinue of the powerful one is the Bhutas. The retinues of the earth goddess are the earth lords. The sun and moon should also be worshipped together with their respective assemblies of deities. Thus, the order of placing the directional deities in the outer retinue has been explained. After the mandala has been drawn, the vase should be purified according to the ritual. The vase, which has been blessed with mantras, should be fumigated, and taken with hands smeared with fragrance. On the surface of the vase, draw the patterns of the mudras such as the vajra well with fragrant and auspicious things such as cardamom and white sandalwood. Then, the mantra of the nectar furnace: Om Amrite Hum Phat While reciting this mantra, perform the mudra and burn guggul incense. Fumigate the vase with it, and then take clean water from a spring or pond or any auspicious river, filter it well to remove living creatures, and then fill the vase. Inside the vase, put five kinds of precious jewels, namely conch shell, jewel, pearl, coral, and gold, and five kinds of medicine, namely Gorikarni, Simha, Bya Ghri, Hasa, and Hasa Deva, and five kinds of seeds, namely barley, rice, cardamom, wheat, and sesame, and five kinds of spices, namely sandalwood, saffron, Turushka, Agaru, and camphor. Also put these fragrant things. On the neck of the vase, also tie a thread of five colors, which has been blessed with the nectar furnace mantra. Also tie it with silk or white cotton cloth. On the mouth of the vase, insert a mango branch, the so-called Hasa Kara, with branches, flowers, and fruits, or any other sweet vine and branch. After the vase is well filled, bathe well under it. After bathing, put on clean clothes, take the vase, go to the place of the mandala, stand at the west gate of the mandala, and look to the east with eyes burning with its mantra.
