Auspicious and virtuous, auspicious day, May the midday also be auspicious, May you always be auspicious, May you have no sins. After saying these auspicious words, generate according to the six rituals, bless the five places, recite the mantra of the mandala, raise the umbrella, fumigate with incense while reciting the mantra of the wrathful deity who subdues demons, fan with a whisk, and after singing and playing cymbals, drums, and other instruments, pray to all the deities of the mandala, have the vase with the mantra of the mandala deities recited three times, and bestow the water empowerment. Then, make hand gestures and touch the crown of the head with mantras. Then, put on new clothes, wear headdresses and ornaments, and give the right hand of all the mandala deities to the right hand, and the left hand to the left hand. Then, the master places a garland of flowers on his head and gives him a name. Then, place him on a lion throne, raise umbrellas and victory banners, give the seven precious jewels and the eight auspicious symbols, as well as the weapons of the gods, and give each their name and prophecy, praise and encourage them. Then, write the lineage of the mantra with cinnabar or saffron, and the teacher and disciple recite it together seven times. By this, the transmission of the mantra can be obtained. Seeing the mandala and receiving empowerment has four forms: To obtain the position of a master, it is proclaimed as the first empowerment. To accomplish all vidya-mantras, it is explained as the second empowerment. To completely destroy obstacles, it is proclaimed as the third. To obtain the yoga of pacification, this excellent ritual is explained. Thus it is said. The vase empowerment is the first. Reciting vidya-mantras is the second. Pacifying all obstacles is the third. Increasing glory is the fourth. Thus it is said. Not falling into the three lower realms, abandoning the eight unfavorable conditions, remembering past lives, enjoying abundance, possessing morality, having a beautiful appearance, may one always be born in the happy realms of humans and gods. Thus, one should also make aspirations. If one cannot keep vows, or has illness, or has many obstacles, or

Or, when possessed by the reversed evil spirits of young children, or tormented by the demons mentioned in the 'Supreme Wisdom,' the ritual of bathing should be performed: Visualize the swirling nectar and bless the five places. Recite the mantras of the deities and scatter mustard seeds. Bind the mudra in the center of the peacock feathers, called Bindupala, recite the mandala's mantra and perform the activity. Wear a flawless single-faced red coral jewel on the body for protection, and pray to the deities of the mandala. Prayer: The Lord, the deity who speaks with compassion, the King of Vidyadharas, virtuous one, for the sake of pacifying all harm, Lord, please grant your blessings. After saying this, dedicate the roots of virtue: Through these virtuous deeds of mine, may enlightenment be attained swiftly in this world. For the benefit of beings, may the Dharma be taught, and may sentient beings be liberated from the torment of much suffering. Thus, dedicate the roots of virtue and ask for forgiveness: Whatever foolishness of mind I have, etc. Then, with the mantra and mudra of Vajra Hook Mother, merge the deities of the mandala with the deities of the vase. Wipe away the mudras of the mandala with peacock feathers and place the bathing basin, praising: Ema, of all the Buddhas, the great skillful means of the compassionate ones, even in peace, for the sake of sentient beings, transformed into immaculate wrath. After praising in this way, also seal the boundaries with the long mantra of the swirling nectar, touch the five places with the vajra and bless them. Generate the Hero's Crown and the Glorious Heap, holding the right hand in a fist and placing it on the brow, reciting: namaḥ samanta buddhānāṃ ābu ju (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: नमः समन्त बुद्धानां आबु जु, Sanskrit Romanization: namaḥ samanta buddhānāṃ ābu ju, Literal Chinese meaning: Homage! Universal Buddhas! Abu Ju), thus generating the brow. Bind the mudra of the Sovereign Mother of the Vajra Realm on the crown of the head, reciting: oṃ jvālā jvālā dipta otka te u bi śa du nā du nā hūṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओँ ज्वाला ज्वाला दिप्त ओत्क ते उ बि शा दु ना दु ना हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ jvālā jvālā dipta otka te u bi śa du nā du nā hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om! Burn! Burn! Radiant! Blazing! Your! U! Bi! Sha! Du! Na! Du! Na! Hum!), thus generating the crown. Incense with the mantra and mudra of Vajra Scattering, and also with the smoke of Gugul. Bind the mudra of the Victory Banner of the Three Realms, reciting: oṃ vajra āśāni hūṃ phaṭ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओँ वज्र आशानि हुं फट्, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ vajra āśāni hūṃ phaṭ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om! Vajra! Lightning! Hum! Phat!), sprinkle bean flour and wheat flour on its body, and the Dharma companion recites the previously mentioned verses of auspiciousness.
