The shade of that tree makes all beings live in peace. The so-called Jeta Grove Anathapindika's Garden is the prince of the King of Shravasti. That garden has various kinds of flowers, very beautiful and very wonderful. It is two yojanas, decorated with various kinds of trees. The beings in that place enjoy the pleasures of the five desires and play in that garden. The prince is also like that. After the merchant Anathapindika built it, he wanted to offer it to the Blessed One, looking for an auspicious place, but he could not find it, and thought that it would be best in Prince Jeta's garden. Then, the merchant Anathapindika said to the prince: I want to buy your auspicious garden as a place for me to do good deeds. The prince said: Can you afford to buy my garden? Piling it up with gold bricks, how much gold do you want, can you pay? Can you add the name "Great" on it? The merchant then piled up gold to measure. The king did not like the pile of gold, but hammered the gold into bricks. Then, the merchant piled up gold bricks on that land and measured it to the prince. On that land, a monastery was built with seven treasures, with four gates and three floors. Each direction is decorated with pillars, and the pillars are also made of four kinds of jewels. The beams and crossbeams are made of gold and silver, and the three floors are also like that. The inner and outer windows are also made of seven treasures and decorated with pearl nets, and the other directions are also like that. Each direction has one yojana, and both inside and outside are decorated with patterns made of seven treasures, which are very beautiful. Each direction of that monastery has a gate, which is also made of four kinds of jewels. Each gate has two lions, and those lions are also made of seven treasures. Similarly, it is decorated with two pillars, decorated with Makara, Garuda, Sarana deer, Shangsara bird, etc., and there are stables.

The four are beautiful from all four directions. The stable is also made of seven kinds of precious materials. Above the monastery, banners and various umbrellas adorn the four directions. Pearls and jewels, bells and chimes, and the bells are made of gold and silver. When the wind blows them, it is like a skilled musician playing various musical sounds with eight branches of sound. The fence of the monastery is made of precious lapis lazuli, and the four corners are made of coral. The inside and outside are the same. Outside the monastery are four gardens, also with ponds. In the gardens and ponds, there are also various aquatic and terrestrial flowers, with fragrant smells and pleasing to the eye, adorned with white, yellow, red, green, and blue colors. Similarly, the birds are also beautiful with various sounds, and so are the various trees. The origin of the name of the merchant Anathapindika is from his lineage. Or because he gives alms of the roots of virtue without hesitation, he is called Anathapindika. Because it was built from the prince's garden, it is called Jetavana. Because the merchant offered it to the Blessed One, it is called Anathapindika. Therefore, it is called Jetavana Anathapindika Monastery. Abiding here refers to Bodhisattvas and Sravaka Arhats, as well as Bhikshus and Bhikshunis, Upasakas and Upasikas, Devas and humans, etc., and at the same time, eighty-four kotis of nayutas of hundreds of thousands of Bodhisattvas are all those who are bound by one lifetime, who do not regress from the unexcelled perfect enlightenment, and all the Tathagatas, who have obtained great supernatural powers, who transform the Buddha land with great Vajra liberation and Samadhi, who universally show great miracles, and who teach the Dharma that follows the minds and behaviors of all sentient beings in a moment of thought. Various equality is equal, vast and profound, as well as fearlessness and miracles.

At that time, in the Buddha's realm, offering to the Thus-Gone One with vast clouds of offerings, and the gates of liberation, dharanis, samadhis, powers and superknowledges, unmixed qualities, limbs of enlightenment, paths, grounds, perfections, skillful means, objects of gathering, love, compassion, joy, equanimity, the power of love, truth, and a completely purified stream of mind, all fully endowed with these. Namely, the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas Earth Treasury, Space Treasury, Vajrapani, Avalokiteshvara, All-Eliminating Obscurations, Samantabhadra, Sunlight, Great Compassion, Vajra Name, Manjushri Name, Bodhisattva Mahasattva Maitreya and others, two hundred and twenty-four kotis of nayutas, dwelling together. All two hundred and fifty great Shravakas were Arhats, exhausters of outflows, cutters of the bonds of existence, with correct wisdom, minds completely liberated, having obtained the power of miraculous abilities, the great power of inconceivable transformations, all views without attachment, all free from impurities, having burned the imprints of all afflictions, namely, the venerable Shariputra, the venerable Maitreya's son Gangpo, the venerable Kapina, the venerable Subhuti, the venerable great Maudgalyayana's son, the venerable Kulita, the venerable Gada, the venerable Kashyapa, the venerable great Kashyapa, the venerable Lotus Light Kashyapa, and many other Shravakas, monks, nuns, laymen, laywomen, gods, humans, asuras and gandharvas, and many others gathered. In the grove of Prince Jeta, in the center of Anathapindika's Jeta Grove, he sat upon a precious vajra lotus heart lion throne. What is the lion throne? It is that which arises in the place where the Buddha Bhagavan goes, by the power of past aspirations.
