That is, the palasha tree, or sandalwood tree, or arga tree, or banyan tree, or bikata tree, or mango tree, or sami tree, or godasrung tree, or apamarga tree, or bodhi tree, or udumbara tree. How should one offer for the sake of pacifying and increasing? How should one offer all of one's own wealth and enjoyment? With the mantra ending in svāhā (svāhā, Devanagari: स्वाहा, IAST: svāhā, literal meaning: well said), one should always offer with mantra ghee, guggul, and rice cakes. Fragrances and unidentified things, whatever is available, should be recited like mantras. Firewood for offerings, etc., should be unbitten by insects, without impurities, and clean. If firewood is not available, then use dung from a forest monastery. All except cow dung are suitable for increasing activities. Wood that is spicy, thorny, smells bad, neem trees that grow in cemeteries, dung from donkeys and mules, and their firewood are for killing and expelling. Neem and abha flowers and other flowers are for the purpose of all activities. Then bathe and adorn yourself with ornaments appropriate to the activity, generate pride of the deity appropriate to the activity, sit in a lotus posture, etc., recite the previously mentioned mantra, ending with svāhā (svāhā, Devanagari: स्वाहा, IAST: svāhā, literal meaning: well said), for pacifying, etc. Recite the mantra that destroys faults, and recite the mantra for any activity, place the offering mantra on the left.
