Those are distinguished by the qualities of the names of great beings. [འགྲོ་བའི་བླ་མ།] ('gro ba'i bla ma), named "Teacher of Beings." [འགྲོ་བ།] ('gro ba) means to go extremely brightly, and from that it comes, that is, all kinds of beings. The [བླ་མ།] (bla ma) of those beings is the master. Or, [འགྲོ་བ།] ('gro ba) refers to those who do not understand the meaning of body, speech, and mind, and because they are tamed, they are called [བླ་མ།] (bla ma). Or, [འགྲོ་བ།] ('gro ba) refers to the form of the six kinds of beings, that is, the three realms. Because of exercising power over those, they are called [བླ་མ།] (bla ma). How is it a tantra? It is called "Accomplishing a Hero," [གྲུབ་པ།] (grub pa) means to be extremely famous for being completely perfect, that is, the substances and mantras, etc., that control whatever actions are done. Peaceful and other accomplishments are the heroes who subdue the demons. [རབ་མཆོག] (rab mchog) means especially superior, it is the cause that exists constantly and uninterruptedly. If mantras are recited to contemplate the deity with form, why are those mantras practiced? It is said: [ལྷ་ཉིད།] (lha nyid) etc., when any mantra becomes accomplished and completely clear, then the deity of that mantra will be accomplished in it, that is, the meaning of completely fulfilling the desired meaning. Why is that? Because at the time of completion, there is no difference between the deity and the mantra, and in the generation stage, the cause is the deity and the result is shown as the mantra. [དེ་བས་ན།] (de bas na) Therefore, [ལྷ་ཉིད་གསང་སྔགས་ཚུལ་གྱིས་ནི།] (lha nyid gsang sngags tshul gyis ni) "The deity is the principle of secret mantra," this is the meaning without error. The mantra reciter is the practitioner. That itself is the mantra. If one meditates, it means to focus on that aspect again and again with one-pointedness, first of all, the meaning of having faith in the desired meaning, will the mantra recited truthfully not combine with great accomplishment? The "subtle" etc. that are said are easy to understand. The mantra that is well recited, because of meditating on that meaning, the meditation that is further realized in this life and the next, after thoroughly entering into the light, gradually obtaining all dharmas, as it is said. Earth etc. are easy to understand. This is said from the gate of initially entering thoroughly. Understanding in that way etc. is easy to understand. [ཨོཾ་ཀཱ་ལུ།] (oṃ kā lu) etc. are the four mantras that will be explained to make stiff, for this, at all times of practice and combining with activities, one should instantly perform the yoga of Vajrasana. The manifestation etc. of the first and second mantras.
