Having subdued the four maras and possessing six qualities, this is the glorious and sacred garland of Prajnaparamita, the mother of all Tathagatas. Since the mother has been mentioned, the father of the Tathagatas should also be mentioned. Why? The father is the profound mantra section called "Tantra Tata Tattva Samgraha" (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思:Tantra, Tantra, Reality, Compilation). Therefore, one should pay homage to Prajnaparamita. Furthermore, having faith and joy in this profound sutra, and in order to enter the holy teachings, if one respectfully prostrates, it will accumulate a collection of merit and receive the blessings of all the noble ones. Therefore, one should diligently listen and practice, so that there will be no obstacles or hindrances. The sutra says, "Thus I have heard, at one time..." If it is not a complete and perfect tantra section, why is this said? This is because, in order to make the holy teachings easy to hear and receive, it has been extracted separately from the great tantras. However, since it has been mentioned at the beginning of this tantra, there is no contradiction in speaking of it here. The meaning spoken by the Bhagavan Vairochana, who attained perfect enlightenment, is as such, because it was directly heard by the glorious Vajrasattva and not transmitted by others. The words of the Tathagata are true and without falsehood, but the hearing of the teaching of this sutra is called "one time." The sutra says, "The Vajra blessing of all the Bhagavan Tathagatas, with the wisdom of Samaya, the distinctions of various kinds, possessing wisdom..." This is because all the Tathagatas of the ten directions, such as the Bhagavan Vairochana, are gathered together, and also combine the wisdom of emptiness and the non-duality of Prajnaparamita into equality. The three of body, speech, and mind are like vajras, so with the blessing of the vajra, all obstacles such as demons and hindrances are completely suppressed, leaving no room for resistance. The common Samaya vows are not to abandon the mind of enlightenment, not to abandon the Dharma of the Mahayana, not to abandon the Buddha and the great Bodhisattvas, not to abandon mantras, mudras, and vajras, and to regard the Vajra master as being the same as Vajrasattva.

The characteristic of this vow lies in omniscience and the possession of all forms of wisdom: the wisdom of the Buddha, the wisdom of the equality of the dharma realm without distinctions, the mirror-like wisdom, the wisdom of discerning phenomena, and the wisdom of diligent action, among others. The scriptures state: “All Tathāgatas crown the Dharma King in the three realms with the jewel of the crown, granting empowerment.” This vow of empowerment is bestowed with the jewel garland, just as a wheel-turning monarch, crowned with the seven precious treasures, rules over the four continents. Similarly, all Tathāgatas crown Vairocana Buddha with the jewel crown of all Tathāgatas, empowering him as the Dharma King of the three realms, ruling over all three realms, enjoying all dharmas, turning the wheel of Dharma in the ten directions, and fully ripening all sentient beings, thus receiving great empowerment. The scriptures further state: “All Tathāgatas, with the great sovereignty of the vajra wisdom yoga of omniscience, attain the great seal of the wisdom of all Tathāgatas.” This is because all Tathāgatas, with their omniscient wisdom, perfectly understand the empty nature of all dharmas without error or delusion, hence it is called vajra wisdom. By continuously engaging in the perfection of wisdom in equanimity, it is also called the great sovereignty of yoga, endowed with all enjoyments below that of a wheel-turning monarch, within the equanimity of the dharma realm…

Moreover, because it is immutable, it freely governs all dharmas and is endowed with great wealth and enjoyment, hence it is called the Great自在 (Lord)。 Another explanation is that it is the great mudra of the body, and the samaya mudra of empowerment such as the precious crown; because speech is completely pure in everything, it is the dharma mudra; body, speech, and mind all act equally in the activity of the vajra itself, hence it is the karma mudra, and because it abides in these states, it is called the自在 (Lord) of Yogis. The wisdom mudra of emptiness, and the enjoyment body mudra that possesses the excellent marks and signs; the body mudra is the left index finger placed inside the right fist, showing the union of the vajra and lotus mandala; the samaya mudra that practices in the non-dual manner of prajnaparamita; the karma mudra where many rays of light emanate from the body, transforming into countless Buddha bodies; therefore, it possesses the attainment of the great wisdom mudra of all Tathagatas. The scripture says: "Having understood the equality of the mudra of all Tathagatas, and when performing various activities, the hero who is without remainder, and all speech and mind are the Vajra Tathagata." This is because understanding the mudra of all Tathagatas, which is the wisdom of emptiness, the equality of prajnaparamita, and the meaning of union in the vajra and lotus mandala, performing various activities is to completely ripen all sentient beings, and to liberate all sentient beings from the unsurpassed bodhi through various countless inconceivable means. The dharma equality spoken of here is the activity of completely fulfilling all the hopes of the tamed sentient beings without remainder, and through such means, the sentient beings who should be tamed by the means of offering will be ripened. Combining the equality of prajnaparamita, the great perfect enjoyment body of emptiness that illuminates all, is the dharmakaya. Another explanation is that combining in the non-dual manner of prajnaparamita is also constant.
