How is it said then? The five mandalas are said to be the Tathagata family, the Vajra family, the Ratna family, the Dharma family, and the Karma family, these are their characteristics and qualities. This shows the meaning of the five Tathagatas and the five mothers. The four mandalas are taught by including the Tathagata family in the Vajra family, thus teaching the four mandalas. In some scriptures, three mandalas are taught: the Vajra family is included in the Tathagata family, the Ratna family is included in the Karma family, and the Dharma family's mandala. How is it said like this? What is it like? Due to the influence of perverted views, the objects of body, speech, and mind give rise to the three poisons of desire, anger, and ignorance. Beings are bound by afflictions and suffer in samsara, which is also due to the delusion of body, speech, and mind. Without perverted views, the purity of the union of emptiness wisdom and prajnaparamita is called the Vajra body, which is the "Mahamudra Mandala" of the Tathagata's body. Speech is Vajra speech, which is in accordance with the Dharmadhatu of ultimate truth, so the Tathagata speaks of the Dharmadhatu Mandala. Mind is called Vajra mind, because it possesses the wisdom of the Tathagata, it is able to freely perform various activities for the benefit of beings, manifest all accomplishments, and engage in all activities, therefore the Tathagata Ratna family and the Tathagata Karma family are summarized into one mandala. Because body, speech, and mind are transformed into Vajra, desire becomes the nature of the Tathagata Vajra family mandala. Anger becomes the nature of the Tathagata Ratna family mandala. Ignorance becomes the Tathagata Dharma family mandala. Therefore, desire, anger, and ignorance are also said to be the nature of the Tathagata's body, so the Dharma of afflictions is not independent, but it manifests that all Dharmas are of completely pure nature. The mandala has four directions and five centers, and...

The wisdom and activity of the Buddha and Bodhi were previously different, but it is not the case that there is only one activity. For the mandala of the family, it also possesses the characteristics, qualities, activities, and gatherings of all five families, and merely in name, the mandala is also divided into the characteristics of the five. The five mandalas are also the body of the Tathagata, which is the Dharmadhatu itself. It emanates from the mother of the family and the main deity. The sixteen offering goddesses are also none other than the mother of the family. The 'Sva Vajra Om' (སྭ་བཛྲ་ཨོཾ་, स्वा वज्र ओṃ,sva vajra om, स्वा वज्र ओṃ,Auspicious Vajra Om), where 'Sva' (སྭཱཾ་, स्वा,sva, स्वा,Auspicious) is the nature of being glorious or auspicious, 'Vajra' (བཛྲ་, वज्र,vajra, वज्र,Vajra) is the nature of Vajra, and 'Om' (ཨོཾ་, ओṃ,om, ओṃ,Om) is the nature of the Tathagata. From 'Mother of all Tathagatas' to 'Sva' (སྭ་, स्वा,sva, स्वा,Auspicious), the Mother of all Tathagatas, Prajnaparamita, the great bliss of union, the Dharma of equal union inseparable from all Tathagatas, the Dharma that knows things as they are, because it is inseparable from the Dharmadhatu of all Dharmas, it is said to accomplish all purposes. 'Svaha' (སྭཱ་ཧཱ་, स्वाहा,svaha, स्वाहा,Accomplishment) means peace, increase, and auspiciousness. 'Hum' (ཧཱུཾ་, हूँ,hum, हूँ,Hum) and 'Phat' (ཕཊ་, फट्,phat, फट्,Phat) mean manifestation, attraction, and intimidation. Therefore, it is said that all the Dharmas of the mother of this family are virtuous and auspicious. In the scripture, it says: Why? Because as long as one is in the place of Samsara, from 'jisrid khorwai gnäsu ni' (ཇི་སྲིད་འཁོར་བའི་གནས་སུ་ནི།, यावत् संसार स्थाने,yavat samsara sthane,As long as one is in the place of Samsara) to 'ngödrub kyi chok kyang tsedi la tobpar gyur ro' (དངོས་གྲུབ་ཀྱི་ཕྱོགས་ཀྱང་ཚེ་འདི་ལ་ཐོབ་པར་འགྱུར་རོ།,सिद्धि पक्षोऽपि इह जन्मनि प्राप्यते,siddhi paksho 'pi iha janmani prapyate,The aspect of accomplishment will also be attained in this life), the wisdom of emptiness of the mother of the family, and the mastery of the union of Prajnaparamita, will attain the supreme wisdom, and because it benefits limitless sentient beings in Samsara, apart from the Tathagatas and Bodhisattvas, knowing that the vast union of Prajnaparamita will not be in vain, therefore it is praised in verses. Because Samsara has no beginning or end, there is also no end to the end. As long as Samsara is endless, emptiness and the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas will not unite with it. Therefore, from the initial generation of Bodhicitta entering into the meaning of this endless Samsara, it is supreme.
