Or until the 15th of the fifth month, or from the first day to the 15th of the month, or from the 12th month to the 15th, or a mandala of one mudra should be done in one day and night. Then, having fully taken a qualified master, one should make them especially abide and then enter. Vajrapani blesses, likewise practicing with faith, with bodhicitta and the benefit of beings, because one will become a bodhisattva, following the pure Dharma, especially desiring the Great Vehicle, everything will be completely accomplished. By doing this, a qualified vajra master should fully accept the disciple and make them a vessel. Then, the master should say, 'Son of the lineage, speak.' The disciple should also say: 'Bodhicitta is unsurpassed, please grant me the vajra master. For the vows of Buddha Yoga, the training of discipline, the accumulation of virtuous dharmas, the three disciplines of benefiting sentient beings. All Buddhas are great ascetics, please grant me the Three Jewels of Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha. I also seek the vajra, bell, mudra, and the masters. May I also become a master of the great Vajra lineage. Please also grant me the vows of the great Jewel lineage. Please also grant me the pure vows of the Lotus lineage. Likewise, for the great Karma lineage, for the benefit of all sentient beings, please, protector, grant me the vows.' One should say this. Having thus fully accepted, one should make them especially abide. Likewise, visualizing in the heart and on the crown of the head, holding the vajra in the right fist and placing it in the heart, one will make them especially abide. Then, one should give the vows: May all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas heed me. I, named so-and-so, from this time forth, until reaching the essence of enlightenment. Just as the protectors of the three times have determined to attain enlightenment, I will generate the unsurpassed bodhicitta. I shall hold. The Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, are the unsurpassed Three Jewels. From this day forward, I shall hold them, I shall never abandon them. In the great and supreme Vajra family, the Vajra bell and mudra also, I shall truly hold. The teachers also I shall hold. In the great and supreme Ratna family, the vows that are pleasing to the mind, each day, in six times, I shall fully give the four kinds of generosity. Born from the great Bodhi, in the pure and supreme Padma family, the outer, inner, and secret Three Vehicles, I shall hold the sacred Dharma. In the pure and supreme Karma family, fully endowed with all vows, I shall truly hold, and do my best in the work of offerings. The unsurpassed Bodhicitta, the sacred one, I shall generate. For the sake of all sentient beings, I shall hold all the vows without exception. Those who are not liberated, I shall liberate, Those who are not freed, I shall free. Those who have not obtained breath, I shall give breath, I shall place sentient beings in Nirvana. Those who are able to hold the vows in this way, they shall be introduced into the mandala. If, when inquiring about the mandala, obstacles arise, then at that time, with the vajra kila, having recited the mantra of Vajrakila a hundred thousand times, one should peg all the obstacles, and peg the center of the mandala's ground. Behind the outer mandala, draw a line of the iron fence. Behind that, outside the back of the light mandala, hook and bind the obstacles such as Indra, the lord of the gods, with vajra hooks and so forth, and peg them with the kila. In the southeast direction is the obstacle of fire. In the south is the obstacle of pretas. In the southwest is the obstacle of rakshasas and so forth. In the west is the obstacle of nagas and so forth. In the northwest is the obstacle of wind. In the north is the obstacle of yakshas and so forth. In the northeast is the obstacle of bhutas. Peg this secret mantra with the kila. om vajra kīli sarva vighnāṃ bandha hūṃ phaṭ (藏文：ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་ཀཱི་ལི་སརྦ་བི་གྷྣཱཾ་བནྡྷ་ཧཱུཾ་ཕཊ།，梵文天城体：ॐ वज्र कीलि सर्व विघ्नाम् बन्ध हुं फट्，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ vajra kīli sarva vighnāṃ bandha hūṃ phaṭ，汉语字面意思：嗡，金刚，橛，一切，障碍，束缚，吽，啪). With the vajra eye and the vajra kila, fierce as vajra fire, protect well. Vajra Yaksha binds the sky above. Above the Vajra Terrifier, Vajra Eye, and Vajra Binding, make a vajra net. That also, harms sentient beings.
