The vows of empowerment are explained. The teacher of the Tathagata family is for a month, etc. Bhikshus and shramanas, etc., should not let their precepts be impaired, restore what has been impaired, and abide in the vows. Laypeople should abandon household practices for a month and take the vow of celibacy. Offerings and recitations should be performed at the three times. Then, the vows of the common teacher of the Tathagata family are explained. For half a month, daily, etc. Blessings, etc. The word "etc." refers to empowerment, samadhi, and offerings. To summon with the hook mudra means to perform hooking, introducing, binding, and controlling for the sake of blessing, and to recite at the three times until no weariness arises. Although it is not clearly stated here how long the vows last and when the recitation should be performed, the word "thus" indicates that it belongs to the same category as the previous practice of the three times and the practice of one month. Vajrapani is also included in the Tathagata family, but as the main one who explains the tantras, his vows are said to last for a year. "Rising in the morning, daily," etc. The mantra practitioner bathes himself, anoints himself with clean fragrance, and wears shining clothes. Adorned with armlets and headdresses, etc., he makes offerings with songs and dances. The secret offering is Vajra Lasye, etc. The offering of flowers, etc., is flowers, fragrance, incense, and lamps. To make offerings to the Bhagavan and myself with desirable objects means to make offerings with the focus of meditating on the Bodhisattva, which is the meaning of offering. Recite the truth of the great samaya, recite whatever you desire, that is (Tibetan: ས་མ་ཡ་ཧོ།, Devanagari: समय हो, Romanized Sanskrit: samaya ho, Literal Chinese meaning: Vow, Ho), (Tibetan: སུ་ར་ཏ་སྟྭཾ་, Devanagari: सुरत स्त्वं, Romanized Sanskrit: surata stvaṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Great Joy, You) etc., whatever was mentioned before. To enjoy desirable qualities until the afternoon means to focus on the five faculties, such as faith and diligence.

Regarding the teacher of karma arising from interdependence, the Blessed One, knowing that such asceticism can be accomplished, taught that there is no need to elaborate on rational arguments. Although the arising of alcohol from the mixture of barley and peas cannot be proven by reason, it is so by the law of interdependence. Dancing with mudras, that is, stretching and contracting, stretching outwards and contracting, crossing, and rotating the palms, etc., are all methods of dancing. Visualizing the Tathagata in the mind means imagining the form of the Tathagata in the sky with the mind. Reciting one hundred and eight times means reciting one's own mantra one hundred and eight times in a day. Here, too, it is not clearly stated how long it should be continued, and it should be combined with the time of the Vajrapani asceticism mentioned earlier. Because of the way wise teachers explain, the reason that is not clearly explained should be combined with what was said before. The asceticism of the Lotus family was proclaimed. Offering to the Blessed One, and so on. The urine that comes from collecting all discriminations is the Vajra water, which means drinking the water blessed by the Vajra. After eating a little cow dung, the word "Purisha" also refers to the impure land of feces. The root of the lotus is also called "Purusha", because it is said that "Purisha" comes from the lotus from the collection of all discriminations. So, here it also means "eat a little lotus root". That is also to wash away the defilement of wisdom, symbolizing the drinking of Vajra water. In order to symbolize the accumulation of merit and wisdom without being contaminated, it is taught to eat the root of the lotus. Doing so, and concentrating the mind for seven days, reciting one's own mantra, as mentioned above, one thousand and eight times each day. Then the empowerment of the Ratna family was proclaimed. Giving oneself empowerment every day, and so on. The mantra of empowerment is what was said before, and empowerment is given every day for eight days, and the ritual is as before. Meditating as a king means generating the pride that "I am also the king of Dharma." Ritual.
