The nature of transformation is not other. The sixteenth hero is the essence of secret body, speech, and mind. Then, in order to seal the wisdom of each of their own families with mudras, the lords of the four mudras emanate the four mudras that abide in all directions. The four secret offerings are coquetry and so on, delight in the mind of enlightenment, and the Tathagata's garland, and the Tathagata's songs and actions. Because those are the main ones, they are established as the great goddess of the family. The four incenses and so on are extreme taming, the flower of the limb of enlightenment, the lamp of wisdom, and the fragrance of discipline. The gatekeepers are great compassion, and love for sentient beings, the teacher's teachings, and the perfection of wisdom. This mandala of the retinue of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas who dwell with the complete enjoyment of the Dharma is emanated in whatever desirable place of Akanishta is. For those who do not have the fortune to directly enter there, it is in order to bring them here, and after entering here, they gradually obtain the complete maturation of the faculties, and therefore have the fortune to enter there. Even if the mandala's emanation is complete, if the deities are not blessed, the benefit of sentient beings will not be accomplished. Therefore, in order to invite the deities, other tantras beginning with "Then" and so on were spoken. In "Then" and so on, the word "Then" means immediately after. The meaning of Bhagavan is the Tathagata Vairochana. Mentioning "all Tathagatas" refers to completely including all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Gathering means gathering everything into the place of the mandala. Blessing means having done the gathering, therefore it is called Vajra Bell. Bind the mudra of Vajrasattva Mother, make the gesture of the Vajra Dance, and place the elbow of the right hand on the left hand. Similarly, place the left hand on the elbow of the right hand. The index finger and thumb of both hands

Strike the hand drum alternately with both hands, making the fingers into the shape of an iron hook. This is the mudra of the vajra hand drum. One should have the thought: In order to urge all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas who reside in all Buddha-fields. It should be coordinated like this: Pray to the Bhagavan Tathagatas, now is the time for you to benefit the sentient beings you desire, please move forward. This is urging through symbols, and the heart mantra should also be recited. This is the blessing of the Vajra Gathering, the action of the Samadhi of the King of Vajra Gathering. The "after that" refers to immediately after the urging. "At that moment" means at that very moment. "One moment" refers to the arrival of the Buddhas, the Bhagavan. "An instant" refers to the Bodhisattvas who abide on the ten bhumis. "A while" refers to the other Bodhisattvas besides them. "All world realms" refers to including the three thousand great thousand world realms, the infinity of those world realms is continuous. Those infinities gathered together are like clouds. The countless of those clouds is like the ocean. Numbers beyond counting are expressed with the word ocean. When the Tathagatas gather together with the Bodhisattvas, they go to the pavilion of the Bhagavan, the top of that pavilion is made of vajra, jewels, and precious gems, there they especially draw near. Now, all the Tathagatas are the Bhagavan Vairochana, because it is the nature of the Dharmadhatu. Prostrating to him is because the Bhagavan Samantabhadra is the nature of Bodhicitta, therefore it is said that he is the father of all the Tathagatas. Accomplished by nature, therefore it is accomplished by inherent nature. Reciting as one pleases, is reciting at will, reciting three times or twenty-one times. This "at will" indicates that the number of recitations is not fixed. Now is the mandala of the Bhagavan Samantabhadra.

English

Abiding on the outside, it shows that the emanated wheels are praised with "E-ma-o" and so on. The so-called "E-ma-o" means becoming rare. Those with bodhi as their mind are called Bodhisattvas. Those who are good in every way are called Samantabhadra. Although they appear to act with attachment, hatred, and ignorance in relation to the beings to be tamed, they are by nature without attachment, without hatred, and without ignorance. Because of their excellent conduct, they are the most excellent in conduct. What is the most excellent conduct? It is the phrase: "In the wheel of the Tathagatas, the Tathagata is very beautiful." The wheel of the Tathagatas is because the qualities of the Buddhas are emanated into the form of the Bodhisattvas in the wheel of the mandala. In the center of that wheel of the Tathagatas, the Tathagata, that is, the Bhagavan Vairochana, abides with a beautiful and bright appearance. The so-called "then" means immediately following. The so-called "blessing of all the Tathagatas" is the blessing of the Bhagavan Vairochana. Blessing is that those who enter therein have faith in the purity of the Dharmadhatu, and all are by the power of the Bhagavan Vairochana, each Tathagata, that is, the Bodhisattvas of their respective retinues, enter into their own hearts, and there they enter into the heart of the Bhagavan Vairochana. This is the means for those Bodhisattvas to enter the great mandala. Why? Because in this way, each enters into their own heart and also enters into the heart of Vairochana, this is for the sake of prophecy. Thus, even those who have attained the supreme enlightenment can enter that mandala without fault. They thereby obtain the samaya, and after obtaining the samaya, in order to accomplish the attainment of the qualities of the Buddha, they should become single-minded in everything. With the Sambhogakaya arising from the heart of each Tathagata, on the top of the pavilion, made of vajra, jewels, and precious stones, in all the outer directions, transformed into a mandala, they abide in order to listen to the Dharma with a single-minded mind, so it is said.
