Just as when very clear water is struck by a pebble, a bubble arises, and the bubble is still only water. Similarly, when the mind of a yogi is very clear, even if a thought suddenly arises, it is empty and without essence. Knowing that appearance is emptiness is sudden, just as a bubble is still water, it will dissolve into the water. Knowing its nature is emptiness, the quiescence of emptiness is like a forest. Vipassanā without distinction is like a home. There is no bodhi residing in the forest or the home. Likewise, when not distracted from mindfulness, one is a Buddha, and when thoughts arise, one is a sentient being. Having fully understood the difference in this way, the obscurations of knowledge and knowable are purified, and the nature of the mind is luminosity. With the stainless nature of the mind, all sentient beings can realize it in this way. Because it relies on one's own unawakened state, one should rely on complete non-discrimination. All sentient beings' clinging to "I" and "mine" is not different from suchness. That is "I," and others are also the same. If one realizes that meditation and the meditator are non-dual, then there is no difference between meditation and non-meditation. Whatever is meditated upon is completely meditated upon. This is meditation, and this is what is meditated upon by him. Clinging to "I" and "mine" binds sentient beings. There is no "I" and "mine" in the nature of reality, so that distinction should be abandoned to be free from bondage. If one realizes that self-liberation is unborn and inconceivable, then one becomes a Buddha for one's own benefit, yet self-nature is completely liberated. Because sentient beings are bound by the delusion of self and others, therefore, do not be deluded by self and others. All sentient beings in the three realms are inseparable from the uninterrupted intention of the Buddha, so all are permanently abiding Buddhas. When the mind is impure, it is called a sentient being, and when the mind is naturally pure, it is called a Buddha, although the names are different, the mind itself has no birth or anything else. The mind is naturally luminous, and the mind is essentially pure. The very term "mind" is also a defilement, therefore, being free from the concept of mind or the concept of non-mind, without anything to be separated from, that is the stainless supreme state. The nature of mind itself

In the unborn, one revolves in samsara with grasping and grasper. When that is purified in the dharmadhatu, and that abides in equality, then nirvana is attained. The noble tree of non-dual mind, with pure mind, without memory and without mental activity, pervades the three realms and the three times, pervading all three realms entirely. Pervading all is the dharmakaya, beyond mind. Although it has no purpose of benefiting beings, due to the delusion of sentient beings, each thinks that they have accomplished their own benefit. For example, just as the moon's reflection appears in many vessels filled with water, inconceivable compassion holds the fruit of benefiting others. That dharmakaya does not even have a name, it is the source of the two rupakayas, so the name is the supreme benefit to others. That ultimate praise that transcends the mind is the dharmakaya. The blossoming of flowers there is the sambhogakaya, the noble tree of emptiness blossoms with flowers. Moreover, it is done for oneself by the individual thoughts of beings, so it has various visions and is endowed with various kinds of compassion. It is not born from effort, but is spontaneously accomplished. The former non-remembrance is the cause, and the latter non-remembrance is the result. The former remembrance is the cause, and the latter unborn is the result. The former unborn is the cause, and the latter beyond mind is the result. Since there is no need to make effort for these, spontaneous accomplishment is the result of the latter. That which is free from effort and beyond the mind has no name of mind. Although it is accepted as another's mind by the Mind-Only school and others, this bliss is another's mind. Therefore, in the ultimate emptiness that transcends the mind, there are no two rupakayas, the noble tree of emptiness is not compassion. In such a profound nature of reality, is the root the nature of mind? Is the trunk the mind? Or are the leaves not born from the mind? There is no root or leaf at all. There is no object of mind and intellect there. If it becomes an object of mind and intellect there, then what is the object there? It is the dharmadhatu that cannot be meditated upon. If one meditates, the sambhogakaya and nirmanakaya are flawed, and falling into it will break the limbs. Although memory and non-memory arise from that which transcends the mind and is unborn, the nature of mind is unborn.
