It is the ground. From this, samsara and nirvana appear as two. From one seed, two trees grow. Dharmakaya is beyond mind, therefore there are no different fruits. Therefore, from that cause, one fruit arises. That is also the cause of samsara, and also the cause of nirvana. Therefore, whatever one thinks, it is indivisible. Yogis see that all are liberated from one side of samsara. Mediocre ones see liberation only from nirvana. The thought of the superior yogi is: neither abandoning nor taking the conceptual thoughts arising from the mind dwelling in samsara. Neither abandoning nor taking the mind abiding in the equality of nirvana. Because there is no substance of samsara, there is no doubt. Nirvana is also not established as a substance, not hoping for it, this is the suchness of yogis. By this, samsara and nirvana are liberated. If the mind of an ordinary person, desiring to attain Buddhahood, is with hope, then, one will not encounter the true meaning. When one does not encounter anything, then one encounters the true ultimate truth. Therefore, ordinary people desire to meet the Dharmakaya, when a desirous person comes, if that ordinary person has no hope for the Dharmakaya, and knows that the mind is liberated in the Dharmakaya, then, if he leaves without hope, then that without hope is abandoned by worldly people. That which is abandoned is taken by the yogi. When worldly people take anything with intellect, mind, intention, and consciousness, what is abandoned is not the object of intellect, but is taken with the oral instructions of the sublime guru's indications. Taking back the discarded food scraps from outside. The realized yogi thinks that not taking the memory of family as important is like abandoning it. Having realized that the Dharmakaya is beyond mind, it is also okay to abide without relying on others. Or it is also okay to abandon the family and abide. The Dharmakaya is beyond mind, it does not have the mind and wisdom to manifest the two aspects of the Form Body. Although there is no wisdom of awareness, the wish-fulfilling tree and others do not perform the activities of benefiting beings, that is merely the individual conceptualizations appearing as actions. Therefore, it does not do things that benefit others. The desirous one is the external object.

We two within, each desiring to attain Buddhahood. Since they have not realized the Dharmakaya, they do not give alms to those who desire. Since samsara as the cause and nirvana as the result have not truly been accomplished, what result of samsara is this? Those who desire Buddhahood as the result from sentient beings as the cause, constantly cling to self-grasping, so it is better to abandon the self. Yoga is inseparable from the innate, genuine, and co-emergent. Power is mastering the intention of the Sugatas of the three times, and Great is having thoroughly understood the Mahamudra. Auspiciousness is the non-duality of all dharmas. Thus, the arrow-maker woman who realized it is Saraha. From Buddha and Bodhisattvas and Yogis, it is transmitted from mouth to mouth, hence the Oral Tradition. In the future, it is made for the sake of those who have faith in the essential meaning, destroying all duality without exception, and realizing the inexpressible meaning, hence Doha. Sealed with seven kinds of seals, hence Kosha. A song composed in a tent for the sake of the unwavering nature of reality. This completes the demonstration of all examples and meanings. The intention of the Sugatas of the three times is incomparable, but the intention of the glorious hermit is equal to the sky itself. The memory of the non-dual Avadhuti, like a rainbow, wrote the meaning of the Doha Kosha, may the gurus forgive it. This essential meaning residing in the center of the lotus of the heart is earnestly requested by the disciple, who is like the heart, in words. For the sake of those who have faith in this, I have translated this, may all sentient beings realize this essential meaning and be liberated, Namo Eḥ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Meaning: Homage, नमः एः, namaḥ eḥ, Homage!). The commentary on the song of the essential meaning of the Doha Kosha, named, by the non-dual Avadhutipa.
