Therefore, when clouds open their mouths and swallow, it becomes sweet. Whatever arises from the three—unremembering, unborn, and beyond intellect—are various manifestations. Attachment to manifestations is unstable. The place where manifestations arise is beyond the realm of the mind, so it cannot be transformed by the mind. That alone is the ultimate, naturally pure mind. From that, anything that benefits sentient beings can arise, like a wish-fulfilling tree or a good vase. Benefit others with the spirit of the teachings. If you realize the meaning of unborn, you will realize the three—the place of birth, the place of dwelling, and the place of dissolution—of all internal and external phenomena. Even afflictions, which are like poison, can be transformed into the nectar of wisdom. For example, giving a strong poison to someone with heart-wind disease can cure the heart-wind disease. In reality, just as heart-wind disease causes loss of memory, the Buddha's intention is also without memory. The various thoughts that arise from that, if grasped as real, will turn into poison. If you understand the nature of the thoughts themselves, even if you use thought and awareness, you will realize their lack of inherent existence. Therefore, the poison of objects can also be transformed into nectar. Now, if you realize the meaning that is without contradiction and cannot be exemplified, then the mantra expressed with unspeakable sound, the manifestation of its meaning, is shown to be like the roar of a dragon. Although the inconceivable realm of reality cannot be spoken, for example, the pleasure of a young woman cannot be repeated. What can be spoken or known is thought, and as long as there is thought, that itself is the truth of suffering. No thought is the truth of the origin. Unborn is the truth of the path. What is beyond the realm of the mind is the truth of cessation. Because these three truths cannot be spoken, therefore unspeakable is not suffering. Because it cannot be spoken, it also cannot be meditated upon. Meditation is thinking, thinking is discrimination, and discrimination is samsara. Therefore, the ultimate truth that is beyond the realm of the mind cannot be meditated upon by the mind, nor can it be expressed by speech. That is the great bliss that is not stained by mud. If you do anything with the mind, because you did it, it is the cause of suffering. Therefore, if you cannot meditate, that itself is happiness. For a person with a small mind, hearing the sound of "cannot meditate" will be frightening, even if afraid, understand its meaning.

If so, it will bring about the meaning of liberation from samsara. For example, although strong lightning and thunder frighten the timid, they serve the purpose of ripening crops. Just as being frightened by the sound of clouds, the occurrence of thunder and lightning is a sign of rain. Just as the falling rain causes all crops and fruits to ripen, from that inexpressible meaning, the meaning of sentient beings naturally causes memory to ripen into non-memory, causes non-memory to ripen into non-birth, and causes non-birth to ripen into transcendence of thought. If one realizes from thought, it will cause samsara and nirvana to ripen. Just as the falling rain causes crops to ripen. Now, in order to explain the non-contradictory example, the three times are not different, and appearance and emptiness are inseparable, the explanation is as follows: First, one does not remember the end when remembering the beginning, and one does not remember the middle when remembering the end. Therefore, there is no dwelling place for memory, and that non-dwelling place itself is the ultimate dwelling place. Because from some realm of non-memory, this memory first arises, dwells in the middle, and finally dissolves. For the realized yogi, the three states of memory abide in non-memory, that is, the beginning, the end, and the middle abide. Having realized in this way, the three times of past, future, and present are not perceived, and in the realm beyond thought, these three are not different. The beginning and the end are likewise not elsewhere. Like this, not realizing, one understands appearance and understands emptiness, and clinging to appearance and emptiness as two is not correct, because both are temporary. To observe the temporary is foolish. For the foolish person with universal thought, which of the two, appearance and emptiness, is real? Emptiness is artificial emptiness and non-artificial emptiness. Artificial emptiness refers to the practice of emptiness. Non-artificial emptiness is merely the realization of non-memory. Artificial emptiness is temporary in the world because it is fabricated. Non-artificial emptiness is merely called non-memory, and it is also destroyed because of experience. Appearance is ordinary appearance and appearance transformed by sectarian views. Ordinary appearance refers to clinging to things, and this appearance of things, if not examined, merely seems pleasant, but if examined, it is like illusion, dizziness, and dreams. The appearance of thought transformed by sectarian views
