Within the unborn state, nothing is excluded. The nature of mind is like the sky, and it is also the essence of Mahamudra. Attachment, hatred, ignorance, and bodhicitta are also the essence. Now, it is taught to transform the alaya consciousness into the lamp of mindfulness. That is, the emptiness produced by the mind that is contemplated as appearance by mindfulness is ignorance. Therefore, taking the Buddha's intention as the path of mind, wisdom and awareness cannot function, so it is invisible, like darkness. So what should be done? Mindfulness should be known as just a lamp. Relying on the guru's instructions and various methods, the three bodies can be shown. For example, when searching for a desired object in the dark, the object can be found by relying on the light of a lamp. Or, if one opens the lotus in one's heart, contemplates a very subtle bindu, and meditates on it without discrimination, it is said that this is the Buddha's intention. It should be known that this is only an image in a mirror. Beyond that, it should be known that non-thought is equality. Because both of these are unborn and unceasing. Separated from separate thoughts and all seeking, practicing diligent wisdom, and separating from awareness and speculation, realizing the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu, this is only because of the lamp. Transform the darkness of ignorance into a lamp. Because mindfulness is not understood as a lamp, Clinging to one's own continuum, thinking this is samsara. This is nirvana, etc., because good and bad thoughts arise, Therefore, one is bound in the three realms. From samsara, the distinctions of wisdom are inconceivable. As long as the distinctions of wisdom exist, for the yogi of realization, this is practice. This is non-practice, etc., although inconceivable distinctions of wisdom arise, but relying on the instructions of the supreme guru, knowing that this is only an illusion, the illusion itself is momentary, and momentarily always disappears into the Dharmadhatu, one will not be stained by the two stains. Therefore, all stains of the mind should be removed. The Dharmadhatu where illusion disappears, because mindfulness and awareness are not mixed, is stained by the mud of samsara and nirvana. Transcending the three of hearing, thinking, and meditation, because there is no clinging to it with wisdom and awareness, so what can the non-clinging nature be contemplated with? Now it is taught that there is no acceptance or rejection when realized. Mindfulness is

This birth need not be cut off, it vanishes like a cloud in the sky. Non-mentation need not be cultivated, it arises naturally. Therefore, without obstructing sentient beings and without cultivating Buddhahood, there is neither obstruction nor cultivation. When both memory and non-memory are purified in the unborn, the nature of the unborn is free from grasping. There is no thought of abandoning sentient beings or attaining nirvana. That which is beyond thought and expression is the inconceivable realm, the great bliss that is not stained by any mud, without grasping, inconceivable. Those ignorant ones who have not realized this cling to the dualistic consciousness, saying, 'This is samsara, this is nirvana, this is samadhi,' and are bound by the three aspects of samsara. The ignorant are bound by the distinctions of the mind. The yogi who understands the meaning realizes that samsara and nirvana are inseparable. He realizes that conditioned and unconditioned dharmas are inseparable. When all dualistic consciousness, such as the consciousness of shamatha and vipashyana, is purified in the co-emergent nature of appearance, it is called the purification of the cause. When all causes are purified in the co-emergent nature of emptiness, it is called the purification of the path. When both cause and path are purified in the unborn realm, it is called the purification of the result. When the three, cause, path, and result, are realized without being touched by the mind, everything is purified in inseparability, and inseparability is spontaneously accomplished. Now, it is taught that because of realization, there is no need to meditate, and the mind is liberated: By the reasoning of the Madhyamaka and Pramana, which are free from oneness, etc., emptiness is examined. The emptiness of dharmata is not beyond true wisdom, so it is not unique to distinguish between one and many. Then, how should the meaning of dharmata be known? Know non-mentation by means of memory. By knowing non-mentation, realize that memory is sudden. By realizing that memory is sudden, know that memory is separated from the base and root. Know the characteristic of non-mentation as unborn. Know the nature of the unborn as beyond mind. When it is realized in this way, the three, memory, non-memory, unborn, and beyond mind, are known as the three kayas, and the yogi who realizes in the nature of those three is liberated. That is, memory and non-memory are liberated in emptiness.

Liberated in the unborn, without name or sign; liberated in the beyond-mind, without birth or aspiration. By mere knowing, beings are completely liberated. These three bodies are unstained by any condition and are beyond meditation. If meditation is clear, then conceptual thought is clear; if it is not clear, then meditation is meaningless. The ultimate truth cannot be meditated upon. It should be continuously in a state of yoga like a flowing river, abiding at all times. By knowing what clarity is, meditation is shown. The various thoughts arising from the mind are moving. The purity of mind itself—non-thought, unborn, beyond-mind—is unwavering, like a vajra-like samadhi. In this state, the thoughts and awareness arising from the mind, these moving things, merely knowing that they dissolve by their own nature, is to hold thought as non-thought, to hold non-thought as unborn, to hold the unborn as beyond-mind. Therefore, the unwavering mind should be held as self. Now, it is taught that having attained great bliss, one is not harmed by objects: In the three—non-thought, unborn, beyond-mind—one is not stained by the mud of samsara and nirvana, it is the joy free from suffering. These three bodies are the realm that transcends the three kinds of samsara, therefore, having attained the realm of increasing joy. The nature of reality, without birth or cessation, is shown by the venerable guru with various symbols and methods, and the realization that is integrated into the heart makes the three realms, three bodies, and three times expand into equality. Seeing makes the mind completely expand. The guru shows the Buddha's intention through symbols and methods. Seeing the meaning of the three bodies as they are, one can accomplish the benefit of beings, and the fruits arise according to their wishes. Therefore, it is necessary to accomplish what is needed. In non-conceptual activity, one accomplishes the benefit of beings. At the time of conceptual thought, although thoughts scatter in various ways, various emanations arise according to their preferences. Appearing from non-thought, abiding in the state of non-thought, and dissolving into the realm of non-thought, therefore, thought and non-thought are not different. For example, making various different utensils on the earth, creating many images of gods and goddesses, and cities, etc., no matter how much is made, the earth does not move. Similarly, the forms, sounds, smells, tastes, and textures in thought
