Las. If emptiness is the method, then there will be no Buddhas. Because the cause is not other than the effect. Thus it is said. Compassion is inseparable, it is unpolluted bliss. That is not merely freedom from suffering, but unapprehended bliss. That is also said in the Hevajra Tantra: The bliss of gods and humans, gathered together, is not even a sixteenth part of Vajradhara's. And in this very text it says: Whatever one is able to rely on. Thus it is said. It is impossible to attain liberation apart from compassion, because climbing upwards is not the path, and anything that is dual, etc., is shown as a loss of taste on the path, so one must cultivate the path that is in accordance with the fruit. That itself is the uncreated deity, showing everything as the essence of meaning, such as "Alas, what was said," etc. "Alas" is Tibetan. "What was said" is showing above those who are not sublime lamas. Falsehood is meaningless. Perversion is not representing the original. Whatever you are attached to, let it go. That means, let go of the thought that holds onto "this is the yidam deity." If it becomes realization, everything is it. That means, having realized the coemergent, all stability and movement is it, meaning that it is solely the nature of the coemergent. No one can know it apart from that. That means, apart from the coemergent, no other deity can know it. So, should all others be abandoned? It is said, "Reading," etc. Because the coemergent is inherently present in everything, if realized, everything does not go beyond itself. How is suchness like that to be realized? It is said, "There is no view that cannot be indicated," etc. That is the coemergent. Non-indication is that there is no view or tenet that cannot be indicated, even if it is indicated from all sides, if the lama indicates it, there is no conceptualization, because those are sealed with six limits. How does the lama's instruction indicate? Like a jewel in the hand, it is seen clearly and manifestly. The lama will indicate the method by which it becomes manifest by which instruction, but that meaning itself cannot be directly expressed. It is inexpressible. What can be said like this? And it is said: It is not what the lama has shown.

It is for that reason. Thus, only the fourth empowerment realizes it. Not realizing without indication shows the so-called primordial nature, etc. Although the co-emergent is inherently present, it is not realized because of the agitation of the four habitual patterns of cognition. The person who realizes it does not fixate on anything in knowledge and has no acceptance or rejection in conduct, which is shown by "without meditation," etc., and is easy to understand. Thinking that the co-emergent wisdom cannot be realized through the experience of the third empowerment, to refute those views, it is said, "If it becomes manifest," etc. If it becomes manifest, what is the use of meditation? This means that if the co-emergent is seen manifestly during the third empowerment, then what need is there for meditation? If it remains hidden, it is like measuring darkness. This means that if it is not seen, then there is no meditation, only devotion through realization, like looking at an object in the dark. Or, the bliss of the third empowerment is the true co-emergent, and the true is not a thing, it transcends subtle particles, and it is not non-thing, because it appears before the eyes. Or, it is neither thing nor non-thing. Thing is the experience of bliss. Non-thing is emptiness. Not is not different, but of the same taste. This is the opposite of that. This is the fixation on things. That is also from the Hevajra, "Because great bliss arises, therefore bliss itself is not." And as Nagarjuna said, "How can the uncreated arise from the created?" For that reason. Or, if it becomes manifest, what is the use of meditation? etc., means that if it becomes manifest, there is no need to meditate on things, because it has become manifest. Non-things cannot be meditated on, because they have not been seen. That is, if it remains hidden, it is like measuring darkness, like thinking about an object in the dark. Therefore, the co-emergent itself is neither thing nor non-thing, emptiness and compassion are of the same taste. Thus, after generally indicating the co-emergent, now, in order to explain it specifically, it is said, "From where to take," etc. Among them, from "where" to "how to do" is the co-emergent of the cause. Where refers to the fundamental clear light, the indestructible bindu. Taking refers to relying on it to awaken.
