It is the very nature of the clear light of the fourth time in relation to the three appearances. It is known through experiencing the innate. That is, it is the co-emergent that always exists. In order to show the merit of its arising, it is said, "Darkness," and so on. Just as the time of great bliss is covered by darkness, just as the moon rises and destroys the assembly of darkness at once, so too, in the moment when great bliss arises, all sins are defeated. This means that all thoughts are destroyed. When suffering appears, thoughts subside. The lord of deliverance is the wisdom of the fire thought. "Arising together with the consort" means that the inner consort, the wind of wisdom, arises at the same time. If you ask, "What will definitely happen?" "By abiding in this way, emanation after emanation," means that emanation arises, and that is the sacred mandala wheel. That is the uncreated mandala. "Kyema ho" means not to ask for anything. "How will it change the mind?" means by one's own mind. "In the mind" means that the nature is non-conceptual, and nothing at all. "Thought" means placing the mind on that. "Liberation from all evil views" means that if it is nothing at all, one will be liberated from all superimposition and defamation. "By the power of supreme great bliss" means that supreme great bliss is unpolluted joy, and by its power means by its might. The supreme accomplishment is the attainment of Buddhahood. Having thus shown the qualities of indivisible bliss and emptiness, now, in order to show the method of placing the mind on emptiness and bliss, it is said, "Mind of the elephant," and so on. "Let the mind of the elephant roam freely." That is, it means not to forcibly restrain. Now, "Ask yourself" means to let the mind remain in its natural state. "Do not ask it with conceptual thought." That is, at this time, do not pay attention to signs. Now, in order to show the method of placing the mind in bliss, it is said, "Mountain of the sky," and so on. There, the sky is the crown of the head. The mountain is the body. Drinking water is experiencing the bliss of shukra. "Place it beside it" means to place it near the root of the innate faculty. "Self-joy" means ease and comfort as one pleases. Thinking about how to place it, it says, "The faculty of the object"

Having mentioned earth and so on. The term "object" means that, just as an elephant outside is led by the hand of the king, the yogi also controls the elephant of the mind as he pleases. "The yogi is like an elephant's walk" means without restraint or focus. "From that itself, it will transform" means it will transform back to itself. In order to show the method of abiding in non-duality, it is said, "What is samsara" and so on. "What is samsara is definitely nirvana" means that samsara itself is liberation. "It is not thinking differently by the difference of objects" means that one does not look outward by the difference of the five objects. Why is that? It is said, "Self-nature is one" and so on. "Self-nature is one" means that object and subject are not different. "Abandoning all distinctions" means abandoning the distinctions of difference. "Immaculate" means without dualistic grasping. In order to show the reason for non-duality, it is said, "The very nature of mind" and so on. "With object" means compassion. "Without object" means emptiness. "There is fault in the two" means if they are not mixed. "The nature of bliss" means equal in taste. "Utterly supreme self-arising." This means that it arises without being associated with anything. The rest is easy to understand. Now, in order to show that abiding in non-duality has no fixed abode, it is said, "Three goings" and so on. "Whatever is there" means forest and home. "Coming" means equally. "Abiding by constantly realizing without remainder" means the original nature. The rest is easy to understand. In order to show the qualities of abiding in that, it is said, "At that time, the enemy's" and so on. Since non-conceptualization does not belong to the category of realization, it does not belong to the category of the enemy. "If one knows all the distinctions in this way" means good and bad are equal. "That distinction is completely freed from bondage" means abandoning the concept of duality. How does it appear as different? "Like seeing the ocean mirror" means like the reflection of a face appearing in clear water. "Do not be mistaken about self and other" means mistaking one for two. Thus, having shown the four co-emergent aspects of skillful means, now
