Earth arises. Thus, a confident yogi, In pleasant places, On auspicious and auspicious dates, To the Dharma protectors and guardians, Admonishes and pacifies all obstacles. In front of the Yidam deity and the teacher, And the Dakinis, Having made vows, one should practice. With the hundred-syllable mantra and other rituals, Having purified all faults, In places with good foundations, Spread out the mandala flowers well. All the outer and inner offering substances, Accumulate and display all the ornaments. Oneself having become the supreme deity, That Sugata's scripture, Having adorned with precious garments, After the Teacher's Parinirvana, Should be placed as a symbol of speech. Whether embossed, cast, or painted, That supreme and very beautiful image, Should be placed as a symbol of body. The vajra, bell, and other hand implements, That beauty in accordance with tradition, Should be placed as a symbol of mind. Although all of these, in ultimate truth, Do not truly abide, In relative truth, It is like the Tathagata entering the womb. Thus, the blessing power is very great, Whatever is done becomes Dzogchen. Therefore, generate diligence and act. If the yogi becomes poor, In the realm of devotion, Do not become poor with miserliness, Et cetera, that should not be done, It is conduct contrary to the Dharma. Therefore, act with reverence and diligence. Yogis and powerful ones, Should rely on generation and completion stages, The initial ways of generation, Instant manifestation and the five rituals, Explaining in terms of three, etc., The way of arising from two, and By the way of entering into one, One should know the order of the rituals. In the explanation of the two completion stages, Entering by way of skillful means, and One who enters by way of wisdom, The ways of entering by skillful means, Into the mandala of the eight-petaled nine deities, Entering by the power of oral instructions, and Into the mandala of the sixteen-four deities, Entering by the means of union, and Superior to that and that, In places of extreme circumambulation, Entering in sequence, and The initial places of arising, etc., The final place of another arising, By rotating the wheel of torches, One should know the sequence and other oral instructions.

On the black cushion, the yogi dwells in comfort. On the moon mandala in the heart, from the seed syllable arises the deity, clearly manifest. The guru holds the form of Akshobhya, surrounded by a host of dakinis. First, with body and speech in reverence, prostrate and touch the feet. Outer offerings, inner offerings, secret offerings, etc., offer them in order and confess sins. Understand the nature of illusion. Generate joy and rejoice in the bliss of the Buddhas and others. Urge the turning of the Dharma wheel. Pray for the benefit of beings. Take refuge in the mandala deity. Offer the body with reverence. Generate the mind and abide on the path. Hold the supreme mudra. Again, firmly hold the vows. Also meditate on the four immeasurables. By reciting the mantra that purifies, meditate on everything as emptiness. Not existent, not non-existent. Not apparent, not non-ceasing. Not arising, not ceasing. With these words and others, indicate and establish emptiness. The reality of emptiness, though inconceivable anywhere, is spoken of as unborn, unceasing, etc., for the sake of dispelling those who are unenlightened, wrongly enlightened, or doubtful. From that state of emptiness, the mandalas of the elements arise in successive layers. Above that, from སུཾ་(Tibetan, सुं,sum,Sum), arises the great Mount Meru. Above that, from ཧཱུཾ་(Tibetan, हुं,hūṃ,Hum), the vajra, in the center of the green crossed vajra, from the seed syllable emanates light, creating a golden ten-spoked wheel. In the manner of instantaneous miraculous birth, the central principal deity generates the ten wrathful deities. By reciting the secret mantra of four ཧཱུཾ་(Tibetan, हुं,hūṃ,Hum), by command, light emanates, summoning all the malicious ones. Recite the mantra of the vajra kila, transform with extreme wrath, strike with the striking mantra, and beat with the beating mantra.
