Dāya. Hara Hara. Oṃ Hūṃ Hrīḥ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal meaning in Chinese). Bhaga Vān Jñāna Mūrti. Bāgī Śvara. Mahā Pāca. Sarva Dharma. Gagana. Amala. Supari Śuddha. Dharma Dhātu. Jñāna Garbha Āḥ. Up to here is the eighth chapter. Explaining the greatness, along with the sound of mantras. Ninth Chapter: The chapter that shows the meaning of self and others reaching the ultimate through the gate of rejoicing. Now, the ninth chapter shows the ultimate intention from the perspective of self and others through the gate of rejoicing. The term "then" indicates that the teacher spoke of the previous meaning, and in between, others made offerings. The inquirer offered the concluding words of rejoicing. The term "glorious" means that the realized one possesses his own glory, knowing because he understands the teacher's intention. Compassion possesses the glory of others, After inquiring about the profound meaning of the secret mantra, he performs the work of benefiting beings. The inquirer is not self-born, but extracted from the heart of Vajrasattva, taken from the five-colored wind box of the nose, and transformed into the body of Vajrapani. These details are explained elsewhere, so they are not elaborated here. The term "Vajradhara" refers to Vajrapani. The phrase "rejoicing and praising with folded hands" means that the teacher's words are without error. This also means that the meaning of self and others reaches the ultimate. The term "protector" refers to the protector of self and others. Who is that? It is the Bhagavan Tathagata. The phrase "prostrating to the complete and perfect Buddha" means that the inquirer prostrates to the teacher. The phrase "that is the protector, the master of secrets" means that the inquirer knows the teacher's intention. The phrase "holding the vajra, the king of wrathful ones" means that the wrathful one surpasses other wrathful ones. The phrase "together with various others" refers to the retinue. The phrase "from the secret praise, offering these words" means that the intention arises. The phrase "protector, we rejoice" means that after inquiring about the meaning of inner and outer secrets, the retinue is delighted. The term "good" means that the words are without error. The second "good" means that the meaning is without error. The term "well spoken" means that the teacher, for the sake of self and others, has spoken with the branches of the method of explanation. The phrase "those seeking the fruit of liberation" refers to the retinue or superiors who, in three moments, are liberated from inner and outer appearances and attain the great wisdom fruit. Who are they? The phrase "helpless beings" refers to the common retinue.
