"Difficult to Tame" refers to the object to be tamed, namely the three poisons. "Those who tame" refers to the subject who tames, namely the three aspects of the body. "Supreme" refers to Vajrapani. "Hero Victorious over the Three Realms" means that one who cuts off all wickedness is called a hero. "Victorious over the Three Realms" means victorious over the three realms of underground, above ground, and above the ground. "Vajra Lord of Power, Secret King" means that Vajra is emptiness. One who understands the meaning of emptiness is called the Lord of Power. This meaning is not common to Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, so it is the Secret King. Alternatively, secret refers to the vehicle of secret mantra. Its king is Vajrapani. So what does Vajrapani look like? Therefore, it is said, "Eyes like a blooming white lotus." The white lotus means white in color, good roots, fragrant smell, juicy, and has five petals. Similarly, Vajrapani is also not contaminated by defilements, accomplished by the two accumulations, tames others, has compassion, and benefits sentient beings with the five families. Also, "Eyes like a blooming white lotus" means that like a lotus flower that is not contaminated by mud, it has five immaculate eyes. "Sitting on a blooming lotus seat" means sitting on a blooming lotus seat, which means that although staying in samsara, it is not contaminated by sins. "Holding the supreme vajra in one's own hand" means holding the vajra in one's heart as a sign of understanding non-dual wisdom. In order to show the accomplishment of benefiting others, it is shaken repeatedly. This shows the uncommon retinue. Now we will explain the common retinue, the five hundred wrathful deities. The appearance of these wrathful deities is described as "Wrathful wrinkles in order" and so on. Wrathful wrinkles refer to the wrinkles of wrath. "In order" and so on means that the hair and beard are dyed yellow, the eyes are red, the tongue is curled, the upper teeth bite the lower lip, short and stout, the belly is large, the limbs are extremely open, the joints are like the tip of a vajra, adorned with charnel grounds and poisonous ornaments, weapons are burning and shining, the headdress on the head, burning flames.
