This also, Bodhi, this is what is to be accomplished. The Bodhisattva is the accomplisher, and as such, there is no separate manifestation of clinging. 'Without realization' means that realization is the path for the sake of Bodhi, and one should not separately cling to it. 'Not a thing and not meditation' means that oneself is the object of meditation, the meditator, and not the non-meditator. It is free from the manifestation of clinging to differences, and is merely the nature of repeatedly familiarizing oneself with the mind itself. Why is there no manifestation of clinging? It is said, 'Not even a realm of clinging,' and so forth, meaning there is no reliance on external forms and the like. If there is no grasping, is there also no apprehended? It means 'also not,' meaning there is also no consciousness of grasping. If so, how does this separate appearance arise? 'It is like the center of the sky.' Because the sky is the nature of the sky. It is merely appearance, devoid of the nature of blue, white, and so on. Likewise, it is the basis of darkness, clouds, and so on, and when those are gathered together, it is the sky itself. Here, those who are foolish cling to this as 'this is like this.' Similarly, realizing the great bliss as one taste, this is the wisdom that is free from characteristics. Likewise, because it is the basis of various characteristics, it is its very nature, and those who are foolish cling to this. This is what is said: 'Like the sky.' 'This selfless Dharma is great bliss.' The very nature of the mind, great bliss, is the selfless Dharma, and it is desired as something different and becomes without the nature of characteristics. Without nature, it is free from characteristics. Because there is no object of grasping or apprehended, it is taught to show that the five elements are not established. 'Not even earth,' and so on, means that earth and the like are considered to be the collection of minute particles, and it is said to be something without parts of minute particles. This is what is realized by the distinction of directional parts, in which there are no parts. Therefore, since minute particles are not established, the function of earth and the like is like scooping water with one's hands and spilling it. If all these are grasping and apprehended, various natures...

If not, from where will it arise? It is said: Like "Vajra" etc. Vajra is non-intentional wisdom. Its truth is mind. Its extreme union refers to the union that completely separates ignorance. Generation is from that. Here, dependent origination should be observed first. Like "I am the observer" etc. Then, aren't the grasped and the grasper dependent on that? It is said: Like "all" etc. The so-called "all things" refers to the form of the grasped and the grasper that depends on clarity and appearance. The so-called "non-thing" refers to not being the nature of truth. Its meaning is this: depending on consciousness, it becomes the nature of the grasped and the grasper, then the consciousness of the other is not the nature of the grasped and the grasper, because the self-awareness of the other has not manifested. It also does not depend on one's own true knowledge, because it is not the grasped and the grasper. The past and the future have also not manifested, therefore it is not what can be grasped. The self-awareness that arises now is also unique, how can it be the grasped and the grasper? Because it is contradictory for oneself to act on oneself. It is precisely because of this that it is said "non-thing" etc. The meaning is, because of that, it is not a thing, and the grasped and the grasper that depend on consciousness are also not established as real. Then, like this, in order to abandon the form of the grasped and the grasper that has become true, if one definitely becomes accustomed to the means, then that is the antidote, it is the truth. One who has such a union is worthy of being called a yogi. If it becomes the grasped and the grasper in other ways? It is said: Like "Yoga" etc. The meaning is: the connection of the yogi exists, and this is not annihilation, because it is merely appearance. Because it cannot withstand the observation as it is said, it is not constant. If the ultimate truth is also not established, then how can the constant that becomes the grasped and the grasper in other ways be established? That is the yogi of the gods, in order to clarify this meaning, without limbs, etc.
