It should not be said that it arises from the power of aspiration. For if one doubts the nature of the Sambhogakaya and Nirmanakaya, which have not been cultivated, how can the mind be certain? If so, does it arise from the power of aspiration? If selflessness also manifests without cultivation, then what is the need for the effort of cultivating it? If it is said that it arises from cultivation, then what fault have the Sambhogakaya and Nirmanakaya committed that they should not be cultivated? Therefore, even those who abide in the Paramitayana should acknowledge the Buddha who possesses the nature of the three kayas. It becomes clear through cultivation. Therefore, the Buddha himself is the cause of accomplishment. Is it not the case that the result, which is like the cause, is always seen in all Buddha yogas? As it is taught, and also in the "All Secrets," it is said: The Buddha himself, in brief, definitely arises from Samadhi-wisdom. Without Buddha yoga, the Buddha yogi cannot attain it. Thus it is said that the yoga of the Buddha is also the Lord of Death, the Black One, who subdues all beings and possesses the nature of wrath and peace. In the systems of Kriya and Charya, the object to be accomplished and the means of accomplishment are not followed for a long time. These arise from investigation. This is because the power of the deity realized in paintings and so on perfects the accomplishment of siddhis. In the Yoga Tantra, there is this difference: with the yoga of one's own deity, one focuses on the deity realized in paintings and so on, and accomplishes the corresponding siddhi. In Anuttarayoga, this is not taught as the main factor. Here, it is taught that the yoga of non-duality of skillful means and wisdom becomes the nature of Dharma, Sambhoga, and Nirmana Kayas, benefiting all beings, and possessing the nature of uncontaminated bliss. Therefore, it is the cause of attaining uncommon results, and thus it is unsurpassed. Like the crest jewel on the head of Taksha that dispels epidemics, it is difficult to accomplish.
