Moreover, it says in that very text: Why is the playful nature of virtue charming? It is the perfection of generosity, charming. Thus it is said. A garland is only bhaga. That which is called "is," refers to the yogini who possesses the conduct of vows, considering the nature that pleases the Tathagata's heart to be a garland. Moreover, it says in that very text: The enchanting one with an adorned body, the garland is the perfection of discipline. Thus it is said. The sound mother is shown as breath, and that which is called "is," refers to the fact that reciting mantras intentionally during play is the sound mother. The dancing mother is union, and that which is called "is," refers to the yogi who strives for the sake of the fruit, together with the effort of visualizing the deity, is called the dancing mother. Moreover, it says in that very text: Swiftly bestowing Buddhahood, the dancing mother is the perfection of diligence. Thus it is said. Such a body mandala is bhaga, and it is shown to be distinct from the bodhicitta mandala. Therefore, the Bhagavan speaks well. That which is called "is." Because it is extremely united. Realizing it is the Fortunate Aeon. That which is called "is," refers to the meaning of the body mandala being virtuous. Realizing it is the eight consciousnesses. These are called loving-kindness, etc., which means that the collection of eight consciousnesses is meditated upon as the eight Bodhisattvas, such as loving-kindness. For example, the alaya consciousness, as well as the mind, and the consciousness of the heart, as well as the eye, as well as the ear, as well as the nose, as well as the tongue, as well as the body consciousness, are respectively Maitreya, as well as Manjushri, as well as Samantabhadra, as well as Kshitigarbha, as well as Vajrapani, as well as Akashagarbha, as well as Avalokiteshvara, as well as Sarvanivaranaviskambhin. Thus, the mandala is spoken of. That which is called "is," refers to the meaning that the body mandala is meditated upon by the yogis. If asked why only two of the three mandalas are spoken of, (the answer is) the other mandalas have been spoken of before, thus it is said. In the root tantra, the deity and bodhicitta mandalas are described in detail.

It is finished. Regarding the answer to "Perform the fire offering separately," it was said, "The various activities of the fire offering will be explained," and so on. The four types refer to pacifying, etc. Its classification is, it was said that there are outer and inner fire offerings. "Outer" refers to digging the fire pit, etc. If asked how to do it, the answer is, "The outer has been explained before," which has been explained in the root tantra. What is the inner one? The answer is, "Listen," etc. This is an instruction to the goddess Tara. The positions of the four lotuses are, "They are located near the center of the body," meaning that one should visualize a lotus seat at each of the four places: the secret place, the navel, the heart, and the throat. Fire means that above the navel, from the syllable (Tibetan: རཾ, Devanagari: ram, Romanized Sanskrit: ram, Literal meaning: ram) arises a triangular fire mandala, marked by the syllable (Tibetan: རཾ, Devanagari: ram, Romanized Sanskrit: ram, Literal meaning: ram). Wind means that on the lotus seat of the secret place, from the syllable (Tibetan: ཡཾ, Devanagari: yam, Romanized Sanskrit: yam, Literal meaning: yam) arises a crescent-shaped wind mandala, blue in color, and one should meditate on it marked by the syllable (Tibetan: ཡཾ, Devanagari: yam, Romanized Sanskrit: yam, Literal meaning: yam). Great Power means that on the lotus of the heart, from the syllable (Tibetan: ལཾ, Devanagari: lam, Romanized Sanskrit: lam, Literal meaning: lam) arises a square Great Power mandala, yellow in color, marked by the syllable (Tibetan: ལཾ, Devanagari: lam, Romanized Sanskrit: lam, Literal meaning: lam). Water means that on the lotus of the throat, from the syllable (Tibetan: བཾ, Devanagari: vam, Romanized Sanskrit: vam, Literal meaning: vam) arises a circular water mandala, white in color, marked by the syllable (Tibetan: བཾ, Devanagari: vam, Romanized Sanskrit: vam, Literal meaning: vam). Regarding the functions of these, it was said, "The wind makes the fire blaze," meaning that the wind of the secret place blows on the mandala of the navel. "Water makes it fully ripen," meaning that because heat arises from the Great Power mandala, all the food ripens in the water mandala of the throat. A clearer explanation of this is, "It arises from the Great Power mandala," that is what was said. If asked how the heat of the Great Power arises? The answer is, "Where the fire is generated," meaning that the light of the fire mandala touches the mandala of the Great Power. It is in this order, but it is not explained in this way in the tantra because it is the teaching of oral instructions, and because wise people will understand it on their own. "Qualities, self-awareness, manifest activity," etc., are easy to understand. The substances for the fire offering are, "Whatever food and drink," etc., refers to food. "All of these are in the water," meaning that all these substances should be offered in the fire offering in the water mandala. "The letter ཀྵ་ on the lotus faces downward," meaning that above the water mandala above the throat, there is a white letter ཀྵ་ facing downward, with rays of light.
