That is, the light of the fire mandala touches the mandala of the great sovereign. Thus, the order of the mandalas is not explained in the tantras, in order to rely on the oral instructions of the guru, and to subdue the arrogance of the wise. The benefits of those are explained, the letter ra, etc., are easy to understand. The burnt offerings are explained: "Whatever food and drink," means that whatever food there refers to the food of the yogi, both pure and impure are taken together. The pure ones are rice porridge, yogurt, brown sugar, etc., because worldly people consider them pure. The impure ones are the nine meats and the five ambrosias, etc., because worldly people consider them impure. Drink refers to alcohol and milk, etc. All of those are in water, which means that those foods and drinks are offered in the water mandala. On the lotus, the letter ཀྵ་ faces downwards, which means that on the water mandala above the lotus of the throat, the letter ཀྵ་ is white, facing downwards, its rays blazing like fire, and it is meditated upon in the form of a lid. Those burnt offerings also fall down from the water mandala and are placed in the lotus of the heart. Going to the lotus of the navel, etc. How is that burnt offering done? Outwardly, by the union of the method of union. That is, outwardly, the burnt offering is done by the union of skillful means and wisdom. Again, the external burnt offering, just as the deity is visualized in manifest enlightenment, is the meaning of doing the burnt offering by combining the visualization of the deity with the mandala of the body. As soon as you go to the secret lotus, the ashes are completely revealed at the edge. This means that the nectar of those burnt offerings satisfies the deities of the body mandala, and the meaning is to meditate on the burning of the residue. The benefits are explained: "Those burnt offerings I have explained," etc., where "I" refers to the teacher. "Accomplishment will occur in this very life," means that offering in the special pure land of the Tathagata, and becoming a special intention, therefore, in this very life, seeing the Dharma and becoming the fruit of experience. Thus, it is also stated in the Abhidharma Treasury: "From the difference of field and intention, it is the fruit of seeing the Dharma."

Thus it is said. From "without cracks" to "speak to make all sentient beings happy," it is easy to understand. "Merely seeing inspires" means that merely seeing that yogi by other sentient beings, all worldly people will develop attachment, that is its meaning. Similarly, regarding the ritual of offering, the answer is, after explaining the activities of fire offering, etc., among which "goddess" is a term referring to Tara. "Offering" refers to the inner offering, which is to show respect. "Garland" refers to a garland of flowers. The word "etc." indicates that lamps should be included. The rest is easy to understand. "Two faculties are well joined" refers to the secret offering, which is the play of skillful means and wisdom. If these offerings are offered to whom, then? "Offerings to me should be made," meaning that one should only make offerings to one's own body, that is its meaning. Why not make offerings to sacred images, stupas, etc.? The answer is, "I am all Buddhas," meaning that one should contemplate one's own five aggregates and twelve sources as the five families and bodhisattvas. "It is the abode of all Buddhas," meaning that just as a stupa becomes the basis of all Buddhas, similarly, the body of a yogi who has received empowerment and mantra also becomes the abode of all Buddhas. As it is said in the *Vajradhātu Māyājāla Tantra*: "The vajra master is blessed and offered to by the Buddhas of the ten directions," and so on. Since the vajra master has become a place of offering even for the Buddhas, why is that? "Therefore, with all diligence, the yogi should always offer," meaning that "all" refers to all offerings, or all times. "Diligence" refers to striving to contemplate oneself. Other offerings are also mentioned: "Whatever action is done," meaning chanting with speech, etc., and whatever is done with the body, etc. "The yogi contemplates as an offering," meaning that if the yogi contemplates the actions of body and speech as offerings to the mandala of the body, there will be no verbal errors or improper behavior, that is its meaning.
