Wipe with a soft cloth. Offer clothes and other items as much as possible. With the light of the wisdom mind, Invite the deities to reside. Buddha and his sons, And those who rejoice in the Dharma, Sprinkle with bunches of kusha grass. Offer them with foot-washing water and so on. After making offerings and so on, to them, Kneel down and abide properly. Hold the vajra bell in the left hand, Hold the incense burner in the right hand. Bhagavan Manjushri Vajra, you, King of wisdom, I prostrate and praise. Bhagavan, possessor of the essence of compassion, I wish to perform the consecration. For the sake of love for the disciples, And also for the sake of offering to you all, For the sake of increasing the merit of sentient beings, And for the sake of increasing the Bodhicitta, Bhagavan, please be compassionate to me, It is proper to protect with kindness. This is the ritual for the installation of deities. Consecration Ritual When preparing in the morning, After doing dusting and so on, First invite the Buddhas and so on, Make offerings with foot-washing water. Holding the incense burner, kneeling, Recite the previously spoken verses. Abandon the word "doing," Recite words like "wishing to do." Combining with the three samadhis, Think by abiding equally. Bathe with many vase waters, With auspicious sounds as the prelude.
