After making offerings with sound, After offering the offerings, the disciple's Right thumb and the left hand's Little finger are held, And whatever one has taken is given. If accomplished, dedicate for the sake of kings and other virtuous ones. Perform a complete empowerment as before, After performing scattering and drinking, etc., After offering the offerings, the disciple's Mind is placed in listening. Place flowers in the heart with palms together. To pacify shortcomings such as deficiencies, Say "Please forgive." Whatever is incomplete and remaining, Whatever I have done out of ignorance, In whatever way you have become the protector of beings, Protector, please forgive that. Incompleteness and not knowing, Inability and other such natures, Whatever is incomplete and done by others, All of these should be forgiven. After forgiving, requesting, and prostrating, Take whatever you desire. Recite Vajrasattva. Many, that is, the hundred-syllable mantra: Oṃ Vajrasattva samaya, mānupālaya, Vajrasattva tvenopatiṣṭha, dṛḍho me bhava, sutoṣyo me bhava, anurakto me bhava, sarva siddhiṃ me prayaccha sarva karma su ca me cittaṃ śreyaḥ kuru hūṃ, ha ha ha ha ho bhagavān sarva tathāgata Vajra mā me muñca, Vajrī bhava mahāsamayasattva āḥ ito ba sarvasattvārtha, siddhi daṃ thāya bata suga gaccha dhva buddha viṣayaṃ punarāgamanāya tu. If milk has been prepared, then the remainder offered to the gods should be shared by those who desire children. Today, most are of noble lineage, and if there are those who desire what is appropriate, therefore this was composed, protectors, please forgive the pinnacle of the capable one. Knowing many tantras, the wisdom of empowerment is excellent, these are taught by children, please forgive sinful me. This excellent empowerment ritual, although it is inherently extensive, because the lowly cannot understand it, therefore I have composed it here. This is concise, brief, and complete, the empowerment ritual is beautifully arranged. By whatever merit is obtained from doing this, may all beings abide in enlightenment. From following ignorance, the merit that is slightly cultivated, by the glorious, wise, fearless hand, the ritual sequence is applied. Composed by the hand of the fearless Pandit. The abbreviated version of the empowerment ritual is complete. Called the Empowerment Ritual. The Hand of Fearlessness.
