Recite this mantra. After properly arranging everything for all living fish, perform incense offerings and donations, and make offerings with the five offerings, praising while ringing the bell. Then, the person performing the action should visualize himself as the form of dispelling obstacles, and dig a square pit that is two cubits wide and deep. If one has power, dig a round pit of that size, or half that size, and after creating it, smear both with clay, earth, and water. Then, give argha and so on, and in the square pit, pour water from the vases of the victorious goddess and others in order. There, observe whether it faces east or north, and when the fish float, one hopes that the temple and its associated facilities will be completed quickly. Then open its cavity and pour water into the round pit. The direction of the water flow should be observed. If the water flows clockwise, then virtuous monks with pure vows and qualities will surely arise there. After that, in order to subdue all the nagas, cover the area with branches of milky trees, and visualize the vajra arising from the seed syllable ཛཾ་ (Tibetan: ཛཾ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: जं, Sanskrit Romanization: jaṃ, literal meaning: Tibetan seed syllable) residing in the sun, from which arises Vajrakilaya, yellow in color, with a yellow, black, and white face, adorned with seven snake crests, holding a jewel diadem, the two root arms embracing in the self-arisen mudra, the two right hands holding a vajra and an arrow, the two left hands holding a bow and a lasso with a threatening mudra, adorned with various clothes and emanated ornaments, visualize her sitting on a sun seat, radiant with light, and also visualize oneself as the form of Vajrakilaya, visualizing the ground beneath as the nature of various vajras. At that time, also satisfy the spectators by giving them betel nuts, fragrant flowers, sandalwood, and so on. Then, for the purpose of protection, from the nature of the offering tree or the sandalwood tree, make a vajra image with five or one prongs at the top and bottom, measuring eight fingers of the Sugata, smeared with red sandalwood, and recite the mantra for dispelling obstacles one hundred and eight times over the flowers, threads, and mustard seeds, and then drive it in.
