Having all necessities complete and reciting protective mantras accomplished, one should hold a vajra and bell in hand and enter into meditation. After performing the deity yoga, offer a peaceful torma. On the pure or purified ground, apply a thick layer of earth or an area the size of a cowhide, and in the center of it, place or create a mandala. Then, visualize the wheel of the mandala there and offer it perfectly with the five offerings. Prepare a vast torma according to the instructions, and offer it to all the guardians of the directions with the sound of "Duruye." After that, with the right knee on the ground, bend the body and invite all the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and deities: Wherever in the three realms there are Buddhas, Bodhisattvas with great miraculous powers, gods, nagas, great yakshas, gandharvas, and asuras, I invite them all. For the sake of accomplishing the benefit of all sentient beings, on this beautiful piece of land, to increase the wealth of the monastery, to increase hearing, thinking, and so on, to realize the supreme Dharma, to spread the fame of the monastery far and wide, for the true livelihood of all beings, I, so-and-so, in the name of so-and-so, for this good deed, may you not cause harm, please make a supreme reputation. Please forgive and grant, be sure to accomplish it, and not otherwise. With omens such as dreams, grant me this auspicious land.
