Although nirvana is different due to the distinction of (Nirvana, Sanskrit Devanagari: निर्वाण, Sanskrit Romanization: nirvana, Chinese literal meaning: extinction), one enters into practice in order to directly realize only the nirvana without remainder. Now, in order to show the four types of practice that are desired to be manifested to those who speak of the mode of the perfections, "emptiness of aspects" and so on are mentioned. Aspect refers to the various aspects such as blue, yellow, happiness, and suffering. Empty of that means without aspect. Because it is without aspect, it is like the sky. Whatever whose nature is like the moon, whose essence is clear light, is called that. The sole essence of individual self-awareness is wisdom. Here, whatever is the nature of compassion that desires to remove all beings from suffering and the causes of suffering is called that. It will be explained in this way, expressed by words that closely indicate the perfections. Empty of various aspects such as blue and yellow, without appearance, pure like the stainless sky, possessing great compassion that accomplishes the benefit of all beings, the practice of individual self-awareness, this is the first practice through the mode of the perfections. Beauty is also that, and signs are also that, therefore it is called having thirty-two beautiful signs, that is, adorned with that. Meaning is what beings understand, whatever has the nature of acting to accomplish that, that is accomplishing meaning. The homogeneous cause of the ten perfections such as generosity, that is the similar result by the power of one's own limit. Because suffering has already been abandoned before. Happiness is also the absence of happiness itself, which is the nature of equanimity, because it does not exist in the state that was done before. It will be shown in this way, with a body possessing thirty-two signs and adorned with eighty excellent marks, accomplishing the benefit of all beings, relying on the power of familiarizing with perfections such as generosity, the very nature of a perfectly complete Buddha, is the nature of equanimity that has abandoned happiness and suffering, this is the second practice. With joy, etc.
