Seeing that the vessels of disciples were rare, he manifested Buddhahood early, allowing everyone to see the different aspects of enlightenment. The great Lama said: Why did Shakyamuni, accumulate merit for countless eons, yet not realize this meaning, remaining in a state of inaction in the Nairanjana River? At that time, all the Sugatas also, dispelled his futile clinging, and thoroughly revealed to him the profound, clear, and non-dual wisdom, as pure as the expanse of the sky. At midnight, like the Buddhas, he practiced this, and at dawn, in an instant, he completely realized it. After entering the Bodhi tree, he completely vanquished the powerful armies of demons, and in order to gather sentient beings, he turned the wheel of Dharma. From then on, this supreme meaning, to some fortunate disciples, was transmitted mouth to ear, revealing the ultimate meaning. Thus it is said. Therefore, know that all Buddhas attain enlightenment in this way. If it were possible to attain Buddhahood through other paths, then he would have a guru. Therefore, the fruition of the three bodies is one, and its path is the practice of mantra. As it is said in the Ornament of Clear Realization: The Buddhas come from the three times, possessing the vajra of body, speech, and mind, obtaining immeasurable wisdom, is the meaning of practicing vajra mantra. Therefore, faith in the practice of mantra should also be understood as fourfold. Some believe that by pleasing the supreme deity through external cleanliness and so on, and the realization of one's own suchness, they experience the glory of eminence, accumulate the accumulations of merit and wisdom, and thus wish to attain the state of Buddhahood. Others believe that by abandoning external cleanliness and so on, and what should and should not be done, they experience the glory of eminence through meditation with and without signs, accumulate the two accumulations, and thus wish to attain the state of Buddhahood. Still others believe that by disparaging cleanliness and so on, and by pleasing one's own deity through the inner yoga of the samaya-sattva (དམ་ཚིག་སེམས་དཔའ། ,samaya-sattva,vow being) and the outer jnana-sattva (ཡེ་ཤེས་སེམས་དཔའ། ,jnana-sattva,wisdom being), and the sequence of pleasing the deity with the four mudras (ཕྱག་རྒྱ་བཞི། ,catur-mudra,four seals), they experience the glory of eminence, accumulate the accumulations of merit and wisdom,

They wish to attain the state of Buddhahood through practice. For the sake of guiding disciples who have faith in this, the Bhagavan taught skillful means, which is to be known as the co-practice of Mahamudra. The co-practice of Mahamudra is as follows: For those who are blazing with diligence, by means of examining the mind as it is, through the stages of generation and completion, at each and every moment, they purify everything including the vessel, essence, path, and fruit. Relying on yoga and mudras, in this very life, they will reach the ultimate of the ultimate, without any doubt, it is unsurpassed. The scripture that teaches this is the glorious Guhyasamaja. How is it? Eighty-four thousand collections of Dharma, because they are gathered, it is also a sacred vessel. Because it dispels the darkness of ignorance, it is the supreme of lamps. Because it tames the mind like a wild horse, it is a fitting bridle. Because it hooks the consciousness like an elephant, it is a sacred hook. For those who are certain of the supreme yoga, it is a market of those who hold vows. From the great ocean of samsara, it is a great boat that liberates. It is a staircase to ascend to the palace of higher realms and definite goodness. In order to destroy and liberate the city of afflictions arising from conceptual thoughts, it is the king who protects the wheel. The Bhagavan, the Great Vajradhara, the sutra section that was closely taught, and the tantra that takes up such a manner, is what is said after all of these, the meanings are determined therein. The yogi who meditates on this meaning, in the future will become Vajradhara, should strive with joy and without contention, guarding and remembering, and with mindfulness. For the listeners of such a scripture, with the branch of acceptance that manifests realization, and with the explanation of the perfect beginning, in order to make others trustworthy, it is explained in a summarized meaning as "here". How the retinue emanated from wisdom, such as the Tathagatas, taught the meaning of the tantra, should also be known here. Afterwards, how the venerable ones summarized and taught the meaning of the tantra to those who are capable,
