He said, that is, knowing is exhausted. Vajrapani said to the Tathagatas: Bhagavan, etc., said that the meaning of "endowed" is to be endowed. The Bodhi of all the Tathagatas is the nature of the fruit of the great Vajradhara, etc., spoken from the glorious Guhyasamaja. The Vajra that practices for that meaning enters through the gate of words and understanding of meaning. Have faith in this and practice it, meaning that after understanding, faith arises, so the meaning is to practice day and night. Again, when the Tathagatas asked, the Bhagavan said that the Vajra body, etc., of all the Tathagatas are three. The others are easy to understand. Again, Vajrapani to the Tathagatas and Bodhisattvas Calling and saying: Bhagavan, etc., is said to show the past, and everything knows the end. Why is that? It means why didn't you say it? Therefore, the Bhagavan, etc., is said, mainly with precepts, etc., in various ways to show the completely pure Dharma, from this vow, etc., which is contrary to the world, just hearing it becomes a fearful thought. Therefore, there is no merit, so it was not said at that time. This Guhyasamaja, meaning that those who are fully abiding in the complete stage yoga spoken from this, at that moment, with skillful means and wisdom, will manifest the perfect Bodhi, which will appear. Ganges, etc., means the superior head and hands and feet and eyes of the limbs, such as giving alms, etc., with the practice of the ten perfections, in the number of Ganges sands kalpas, efforts, etc., those who have not attained Bodhi, in this life can become a truly perfect Buddha, the Tathagatas and Bodhisattvas will know, it is shown. After hearing those words, for the sake of future sentient beings, to generate the joy arising from the power of faith, the Bodhisattvas

gathered. Then, the Tathagatas prevented them with "Bodhisattva" and so on. The three sufferings are the sufferings of body, speech, and mind. The Bodhisattvas offer "Bhagavan" and so on to the Tathagatas. Why is that? the Tathagatas asked. Again, the Bodhisattvas offer "Bhagavan" and so on. Because the secret of body, speech, and mind are inherently completely pure letters, they are the letters of the three secrets, and if there is not even the fortune to hear just the names of these, then in the past, people of uncertain lineage, those whose lineage is cut off, and those who have made the lineage undifferentiated together, say it like that. In order to show the ultimate nature of reality, the Tathagatas said, "Do not say such things" and so on. Not obtained means from the point of view of the grasped and the grasper. For that very reason, because there is no conceptualization of what is to be realized and so on, one is not manifestly perfectly enlightened. Why is that? the Bodhisattvas asked. The Tathagatas said, because the letters of the three secret places themselves are pure. The purity of the secret places such as the body is suchness, therefore it is so. Having heard this, the Bodhisattvas became silent. The body, speech, and mind of all the Tathagatas are the Vajra Splendor Vajrasattva. His consort is Samantabhadri. In his bhaga (བྷ་ག་, bhaga, bhaga, womb), the great Vajradhara, who is free from all things and delights in supreme bliss, abides in union inseparable from his own retinue of vidyas, having become non-different from all the Tathagatas. Then, the four goddesses, with the nature of emptiness and so on, the door of liberation, the essence of peace and so on, the great Vajradhara, the essence of great compassion, gathering all sentient beings without exception, are urged by songs to fall asleep in wisdom. For a while, the glorious Vajrasattva, the essence of great compassion, sentient beings

are entertained as guests, how does it become a state of non-conceptualization? If it is made to become a state of non-conceptualization, why do the goddesses of emptiness and other natures urge so much? Here, the reason should be stated: the Tathagatas are beings with clear and immaculate bodies. Therefore, like the reflections of two closely placed mirrors, the aspects of emptiness and so on of the goddesses arise from the Great Vajradhara, and therefore it becomes a state of non-conceptualization. The Bhagavan's mind arises in the Vajra goddesses, and therefore they urge so much. They are the consorts of all the Tathagatas' body, speech, and mind. The noble Mamaki (Tibetan transliteration) holds the earth, and those born from the six places and others, with pleasant and gentle sounds, urge the Great Vajradhara, the nature of the four doors of liberation, with the joy of great compassion, the nature of delivering all beings. The meaning of "You are the Vajra Mind" is calling through the door of the Vajra Mind. This possesses an indivisible mind, therefore it is the Vajra Mind, the nature of the ultimate Bodhicitta. Because it dwells in the palace residing within the Dharmadhatu with the Sambhogakaya, in the form of the lord, it is the自在者 (zìzài zhě, one who has power over the realm of sentient beings). The meaning of "Please protect me" is to pray for protection of my nature as a sentient being with lustful behavior. Who are they? It is said with "Joy, Delightful, Great Meaning, Desire," among which joy is the aspect of great bliss from generating Bodhicitta. Because it is what makes the mind happy, it is delightful. The great meaning and desire that it generates is the nature of purifying the realm of sentient beings with anger and other behaviors by the most excellent mandala assembly among all, thereby accomplishing my manifest desire. Why? Thus, it is the one who generates all sentient beings, and is the best friend for manifestly subduing them, therefore for the sentient beings of that lustful behavior,
