In short, its essence is manifold. Briefly, accomplishment is also manifold. Abiding is because of abiding therein. Arising is because of attaining union with its essence, meaning that abiding and arising will occur. One might think that focusing on the mind here is practicing in order to approach accomplishment, but that is also unreasonable. If this is practicing one's own mind, then it is not produced from one's own mind either. What then is it? It is produced from the body, speech, and mind of the deities, otherwise the practice would be meaningless. Therefore, if one thinks that this accomplishment abides in the very nature of the body, speech, and mind of the deities, and arises from it, then in order to refute this, the Buddha spoke of "Bhagavan" and so forth. The accomplishments to be attained by practitioners do not abide in the three kayas of the deities. Why? "Why" means that it does not arise from any cause whatsoever. It is meant to say that it is impossible for other fruits to arise from other seeds. Where then does it abide? The Buddha spoke of "However" and so forth. All the dharmas of the Buddha means the various natures of the Buddha's dharmas. Here, the word "vajra" is explained as referring to the body, speech, and mind of the deities. My own body, speech, and mind are vajra, because I believe in and practice my own body, speech, and mind in the manner of the body, speech, and mind of the deities. The cause of abiding therein and the fruit of the state of accomplishment are non-different from that karma. Believing in the body of the deities and so forth is the nature of accomplishment, but is it not very long-lasting? Therefore, are they not abiding in one's own body and so forth? The Buddha spoke of "body" and so forth. It is unreasonable for what appears here to abide in the desire realm and so forth other than here, because it abides in the place where it appears, because it itself is established by valid cognition. However, since there is no difference, abiding in one's own body and so forth is superior, but it is not arising, because the body of the deities and so forth is

Is it because it is the realm of my mind, or because it appears to one's own mind, or because the support and the supported are different? Therefore, it is said, "Even the mind," and so on. It means that because it is not different from the mind of clear nature, it appears as the element of the body, but not because of the support and the supported. In order to clarify this, it is said, "Why is that?" and so on. The "that" refers to those, the mind and the mind, those that do not abide, like the upper and lower sky, the nature of the support and the supported being pure and empty, because it is not a material thing, it is unobstructed. Similarly, the mind in the body and the mind in speech are only mind, therefore unobstructed. Therefore, one's own body, speech, and mind, one's own deity's body, speech, and mind, are one's own mind, and apart from its nature,
