It is known as. The lineage transforms into three aspects: the basis, the nature, and the inseparable, which are thoroughly distinguished. Nature is the cause to be purified, and likewise, the inseparable is the result. The basis is called means, and the lineage of the three is a summary of meaning. It will be explained in this way. Because the Guhyasamāja is a Yoga Tantra, what is common with other Yoga Tantras is the main purpose of this tantra, which is the Result Tantra. What is uncommon is that only from the Guhyasamāja itself, the result is accomplished in the manner of Guhyasamāja, therefore, the Bhagavan Vajradhara, who does not abide in samsara or nirvana, is the inexhaustible, undiminishing, free, and controlling all supreme dharmas, is the bliss of great liberation. Therefore, this is the highest meaning for a person, so it is the main purpose. Although he himself has no difference, it is nominally made different by the distinction of means. Among them, the means called Guhyasamāja is superior to all other means, because it enables one to attain the state of great Vajradhara with great bliss and speed. Therefore, it is said that the result obtained by it, which is called Guhyasamāja, is also the most excellent of all results. The Cause Tantra and the Means Tantra are the means that are in accordance with the purpose, because they can be practiced by those who have the characteristics of hearing, thinking, and so on, and by practicing them, the purpose is accomplished. The means is also truly the collection of secrets as it is. The relationship is to summarize words and speech into one meaning, it is a mutually beneficial dependence that precedes reliance, such as the fifth chapter, the ninth chapter, the seventeenth chapter, and the thirteenth chapter, etc., will be explained, and these will be shown later. The purpose has been stated. The summarized meaning should also be understood from the explanation of the relationship. The connection of word meanings and the answers to refutations, etc., will also be explained as appropriate. Like this, because it is a devotee of the Tathagata, hearing

The body has also been completely accumulated, and because it is said in the world that he is the supreme of those who hear and hold, therefore, the one who collects the Vinaya Pitaka of the Hearers is the noble Ānanda. Similarly, the collector of the Bodhisattva Pitaka is the Blessed One Vajrapāṇi, because he is the lord of the form bodies of the Buddhas of the Good Kalpa and the protector of the Dharma assembly, and in the sūtras such as the Vajrapāṇi Abhiṣeka, it is also recorded that the Buddha entrusted the teachings to him. In the seventeenth chapter, he is called Vajradharma and the King of Dharma Freedom, and there too it refers to Vajrapāṇi himself. Because the Vajrayāna is Vajradharma and the Lord of Vajradharma, and it is also entrusted to him, that is why he is called that. Therefore, when all the Bodhisattva Pitakas are collected by one Bodhisattva, know that he is the collector, the speaker, and the lord of the Dharma, otherwise it is not. The Blessed One also said: 'O monks, the Dharma should be collected with "Thus I have heard, at one time..."' Therefore, the collector Vajrapāṇi said 'Thus I' and so on. This is because the speaker himself manifests enlightenment and then speaks the Dharma, and it is collected after hearing from the speaker. Therefore, the word 'hearing' indicates the collector, meaning 'it is hearing, not what I have realized myself.' It is not very credible to transmit hearing from one to another, therefore, saying 'Thus I' is to indicate that it is personally heard, meaning 'I myself heard it from the speaker, not from others, or from others than that, and then I speak it.' Even if it is personally heard, if one cannot remember everything, or add or subtract, one will not become a true collector, therefore, to indicate that it is true, 'Thus' is said, meaning 'it is precisely these letters, words, and statements, in the order of the topic and occasion, etc.'
