Chapter One: An Explanation of the Empowerment of the Mandala of Samadhi of All Tathagatas. Chapter One: An Explanation of the Empowerment of the Mandala of Samadhi of All Tathagatas. In Sanskrit: Kusumajali Guhyasamaja Nibandha Nama. In Tibetan: Called "The Secret Assembly Commentary: A Handful of Flowers." Homage to the Bhagavan, the youthful Manjushri, the Lord of Speech. Equal to the sky, accomplishing deeds. The supreme and first body itself. From whom the kings, like stars, Rise in the east and set in the west, may you protect! The supreme body of the Thubpas, like the sky, From whom those blazing and beautiful ones, like the sun and moon, Hold the two bodies of wisdom essence. I prostrate to the one who speaks to Vajradhara. Who can explain the meaning of the assembly with the precious ocean of the mode of accomplishment? Therefore, from the shoots of reverence, This commentary is a handful of flowers. Here, the great speech with eighteen chapters is called the Tantra of the Secret Assembly Yoga. Furthermore, how is it called the Secret Assembly? How is it the Yoga Tantra? What is the purpose of this individual? What is the main purpose of what is to be said? Here, what is the necessary and conducive means to be able to practice? What is the necessary connection of these? As it is said in the Commentary on Valid Cognition: Connection and conducive means, the purpose of the individual and the expression, are worthy of examination. Other than that, it is not worthy of examination. So it is said. Furthermore, which of the twelve branches of scripture is this? This is the Sutra Pitaka because it briefly shows the profound meaning. If so, what is the necessity of this? What is the meaning of the summary? What is the meaning of the words, the connection, and the answer to the refutation? It should be said. As it is said: In the science of analysis, those who speak of the meaning of the Sutra should explain it with necessity, summarized meaning, word meaning, connection, and refutation answers. So it is said. Here it should be said that the secrets of all the Tathagatas are three: the secret of body and the secret of speech.

Nga. It is the secret of the mind. Where are all the secrets gathered and assembled? It is the Guhyasamaja Bhagavan Vajradhara, because those depend on him. In short, the secret of the body is Bhagavan Vairocana and so on, the secret of speech is the eye and so on, the secret of mind is Yamantaka and so on. The name is also closely attached to the scripture that speaks of the Guhyasamaja, like the poetry of Sita being robbed. It is also said: Body, speech, and mind are three aspects, which are taught as secrets. All Buddhas are said to be an assembly of gatherings. It will be explained like this. The equal entering of wisdom and means, the complete union is yoga. Because it goes near, it is means, and it is said to enter completely as mind. That itself is the nature of things, because it has become the nature of that itself. Moreover, there is no transformation without a transformer, so it is mind itself. That means itself is also Samatha-vipassana, the person, and wisdom. Wisdom without inherent existence is wisdom, because it is excellent knowledge. Here, non-inherent existence is also called wisdom, because there is no difference between awareness and what is to be known. Because of seeing that very reality in particular, it is vipassana, and because it is suffering, it is not joy, but it is also wisdom, awareness, and what is to be known. The non-duality of those means and wisdom is complete union, that is, yoga. Tantra is continuity, that is, the continuity of cause, the continuity of effect, and the continuity of means. Among them, the distinction of lineage is the continuity of cause. The complete distinction of the great Vajradhara, which has become the fruit from the distinction of lineage, is the continuity of the fruit. In order to accomplish the fruit from the cause, the conditions of mantra, mudra, mandala, and so on are the continuity of means. The tantra in which yoga is the main thing is the yoga tantra. Because it itself is what teaches that, the scripture is also called this. It is also said: The equal entering of wisdom and means is said to be yoga. Whatever is non-existent is wisdom, means is the nature of things, and continuity is tantra.
