Therefore, abiding in the unwavering samadhi means focusing on Vajradhara, with one-pointed mind, and then proclaiming the meaning of Bodhicitta. The saying, "No thing, no meditation," means that a thing, what is called "meaning," is a mind with two aspects. Because that thing does not exist, there is no thing, which is a mind without two aspects. It is not there, meaning it is in the wisdom that is free from the defilement of all conceptual thoughts. Meditation is the characteristic of the appearance of Vajradhara. Because ultimate truth does not exist, therefore, for the benefit of beings, in the things that appear separately, there are forms such as Vajradhara. Because there is no birth in ultimate truth, things become non-existent. Therefore, a thing does not become a non-thing. Because it is free from the aspects of grasping and so on, therefore, one should meditate on it. That is also meditation without an object, merely the suchness of self-awareness, which is the so-called synonym. It is also said: "In that, there is no slight meditation, there is also no slight meditation, the object of meditation is also non-existent, this is said to be that meditation." Or, because measurement harms things, in the absence of things, all the dharmas that are meditated upon are emptiness, and the attachment to its manifestation, its essence exists. The thing of emptiness is definitely held. To this, it is also answered: "Meditation itself is not meditation." and so on. If someone says that the nature of things appearing as emptiness is meditation, that is also unreasonable. Because if one's own self is a non-thing, from where does it become emptiness? From a thing with qualities it becomes a quality, this is reason. Therefore, "therefore" is a close acquisition. Because in this way, therefore a thing does not become a thing, therefore a thing and a non-thing do not become a non-thing. It is also said: "In emptiness, there is no meditation, in non-emptiness, there is also no meditation, a yogi does not abandon emptiness, nor does he abandon the nature of non-emptiness. Whoever clings to emptiness and non-emptiness, words cannot express the arising of discriminations, if one can cut off all discriminations, therefore this."

The two are abandonment. Thus it is said. Therefore, it is said that one should meditate, and there is no meditation either. Meditation is without an object. Thus it is said. Because things and non-things, and the non-thingness of things are not to be meditated upon, therefore there is no meditation either. This clearly explains that all things are closely grasped, therefore, because wishing, the wisher, and the wish are all unobtainable, the interrupted fruit is blocked, thus showing that one's own mind is manifestly enlightened. That also said, mind itself is great accomplishment, mind itself is great able one, mind itself is called wish-fulfilling jewel, mind itself is great bliss. Thus it is said. Or, all things are in every way unobtainable, therefore, what should be meditated on is neither existent nor non-existent, the qualified dharma abides relying on the qualifier. Whatever is combined by thought is also not meditation, that is also based on what is not Suchness, and is not the meaning of meditation. Therefore, the nature of things themselves, the nature of non-dual wisdom, all become non-existent because of emptiness. Because this is established by its own nature, different meditations are unobtainable, who will meditate on it? That also said, in all secrets, not being a thing is not meditation, meditation itself is not meditation, meditation and things are non-existent, completely examined by one's own mind. Thus it is said. The nature of no-birth, such as the body, is established by the mind of enlightenment of Vairochana. From then on, etc., the Abhisambodhi of all Tathagatas is like mirror-like wisdom, by this, knowing what should be known, Suchness is manifestly realized as it is, is the knower. That itself is called Vajra, and is related to abiding in the Samadhi of the aspect of Vairochana and proclaiming it. All things are clung to as self, etc., because there is harm by the establishment of measure, therefore it is related to that. Then, will it become the nature of aggregates, etc.? Aggregates, etc., aggregates are the five, such as form. Faculty and object and...

The classification of discernment is the eighteen realms. The classification of faculties and objects is the twelve sources. The apprehended is the object. The apprehender is consciousness. Because these are empty, the aggregates, realms, sources, apprehended, and apprehender are completely abandoned. Why? Because phenomena are selfless, they are of suchness. Phenomena refer to the aggregates and so on. Selflessness, if analyzed in detail, is without inherent existence. By its very nature, it becomes equanimity, becoming a mind-stream of oneness. One's own mind is the ultimate nature. Because cause and effect are emptiness, they are free from other conditions. They are unborn from the beginning. The nature of what is imputed is said to be the nature of emptiness. Or, being separate from all things, refers to phenomena arising from the power of ignorance, which are imputed as various kinds of self-nature. Because it is separate from the present, being separate from all things is non-dual wisdom. Thus, if the aggregates and so on are established through complete purification, how can they become Buddhas and Bodhisattvas? What is said is the aggregates and so on. The nature of the aggregates and so on, the apprehended and apprehender of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, do not exist ultimately. Therefore, phenomena are selfless, they are of suchness. One's own mind is unborn from the beginning, it is the very nature of emptiness. This appears with the nature of the Tathagatas and so on. If there exists the nature of a person separate from the apprehended and apprehender, then we and others will not temporarily realize it directly. Otherwise, liberation would occur simply by seeing suchness. The result cannot be inferred like the eyes and so on, because there is no result in non-dual wisdom, and the appearance of duality is also like a rabbit's horn, it is not real. If you say so, there is no fault. Because the apprehender is blocked, but the nature of inner discrimination is not blocked. For example, the discrimination of blue and so on, which is different from consciousness, is not an existing entity because it cannot be analyzed in detail. Therefore, because the apprehended does not arise from consciousness, the re-discrimination that depends on it
