That which abides in order to take care of sentient beings of the lineage is called "that." How is it? "Protector" means being prayed to and worshiped by the mandala assembly. Furthermore, "Glorious" means that glory is eyes, etc. Whoever possesses these is glorious. He fully reveals the five secret mandalas of the Great Vajradhara. Again, how is it? "The nature of all sentient beings" means that all sentient beings are the three: Samaya-sattva, Wisdom-sattva, and Samadhi-sattva. The nature of these is whoever possesses their own body, that is the nature of all sentient beings. After prostrating to him, one should explain, etc., as before, it is a common meaning. Similarly, "the nature of all sentient beings" refers to the form of all sentient beings and the vessel world. "Protector" means that those who desire liberation should pray. "Glorious" refers to the characteristics of the Dharma body and the liberated body, great bliss, permanence, the bliss of non-leakage, naturally permanent. Like immaculate space. Whatever is self-awareness, prostrating to him means realizing his nature, then one should explain the Vajra recitation sequence, as before, it is also a common meaning. Similarly, all sentient beings are the appearance of the three wisdoms, such as appearance, because all sentient beings have experienced it. His nature is his nature. Protector is because it is luminosity itself. Glorious, because it is to be obtained through the sequence of mantras, and great bliss, because it is to be obtained through the sequence of mudras. Bowing down to him means experiencing it, Vajra recitation, etc., as before, is a secret meaning. Similarly, all sentient beings are the twelve examples of illusion. His nature is like illusion. Similarly, in the mandala like the Protector, there is power. Glory is the rays of light like Indra's bow with five colors, whoever possesses what transcends the two aspects of existence and non-existence is called "that." Similarly, great bliss is luminosity.

Then from that, Great bliss arises from the stages of instantaneousness or great emptiness, etc. "Relying on that" means focusing on the wisdom body. "Vajra recitation" and so on are the same as before, and also have a hidden meaning. All sentient beings are the basis of all worlds, the seventy-two thousand channels, because they descend from them. The nature of all minds is the mind of enlightenment, which is the master of all realms, hence the protector. Because it is the same as everything, it is auspicious. Because the two characteristics are perfectly combined, great bliss is revealed, hence great bliss. "Relying on that" means knowing that it is no different from Vajradhara, and "Vajra recitation" and so on are the same as before, and also have a hidden meaning. All sentient beings are the nature of one hundred and sixty free from attachment, etc., and because they also dwell pervading, they are the nature of all sentient beings. The protector is free from the three aspects of the moon, the sun, and the boundary. "Auspicious" means adorned with five characteristics such as rainbows. "Great bliss" is non-discriminating wisdom, the nature of true limits. "Relying on that" means following after its nature. "Vajra recitation" and so on are the same as before, and are the ultimate meaning. Likewise, everything is the conventional truth, because it appears in various ways. Sentient beings are the ultimate truth, because they are the reality of existing things. The two truths, conventional and ultimate, are all sentient beings, the illusory wisdom body and luminosity. That purity of purity, whatever nature it has, that is the nature of all sentient beings. "Protector" means that for countless kalpas, it is approached by bodhisattvas who are masters of the ten bhumis, and the enjoyment body abides with indestructible permanence. It is called that which has all excellent qualities and has splendor. With the nature of extremely beautiful seven treasures, the Buddha fields are spread in various ways, in the ten directions.

Residing in the all-pervading palace, in order to bestow supreme joy by raining down the unparalleled nectar of Dharma upon the stainless Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, is the Great Bliss. Paying homage to that, called mindfulness of the Buddha, focusing on the collection of his virtues, and contemplating his nature without inversion. The order of Vajra recitation will be explained. Like the previous ones, this is also the ultimate meaning. The Tantra of Yoga is called the union of method and wisdom, which is called yoga. Whatever is without self-nature is wisdom. Method is the characteristic of things. Because it is said that the nature of wisdom and method is emptiness and compassion, the Vajra and Padma, which are closely represented by them, are the tantras of yoga in which differences and non-differences are shown separately, such as the glorious Guhyasamaja. If that is the case, how is it that the name of the Yoga Tantra is given to the Compendium of Reality and so on? Answer: It is from the difference of meaning. Because it shows the name of yoga on emptiness. As it is said: "Entering into sameness only with wisdom is called yoga." Therefore, even if the expression is the same, this tantra is a special yoga tantra, just as the sound of कौशिक (kauśika, Sanskrit Romanization, owl) is spoken to Indra and inauspicious birds. So what is a tantra? Continuity is tantra. From the great Vajradhara, to enter well through the door of the oral instructions interrupted by the tantras is tantra. It is also of three kinds: the tantra of cause, the tantra of effect, and the tantra of means. Among them, the tantra of cause is the element of Dharma without beginning or end. The tantra of effect is the manifestation of the mandala of the Great Vajradhara. The tantra of means is the limbs of the two stages. As it is said: "Tantra is said to be continuity, and that continuity is also of three kinds: four and likewise nature, and the fruit of non-combination." Therefore, the tantra that is mainly yoga is the yoga tantra, and the middle word becomes the basis of the latter.
