If someone asks: Then, the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, are constantly in meditative equipoise, so wouldn't the various activities they perform, and their state of abiding in samadhi, become causes for distraction? Answer: No. Because the Buddhas' abiding has four ways: abiding by conduct, abiding by teaching, abiding by entering into samadhi, and abiding by inner reality. Abiding is the conduct of meditative equipoise. Among them, the Buddhas' bodily conduct abides in meditative equipoise, which is abiding by conduct. Their speech activity of teaching the Dharma, etc., is abiding by teaching. Their mental activity of entering into samadhi is abiding by entering into samadhi. Their mental activity of coming to the gods, etc., is abiding by inner reality. Therefore, for abandonment and meditative equipoise, the Buddhas are the same. They perform various activities with proliferation for the benefit of sentient beings, but these will not cause them the slightest distraction. For example, clouds and snow, etc., do not harm the realm of space. By the power of past aspirations, even if they act for the benefit of sentient beings, their nature will not be diminished. For them, the appearance of all activities is like the turning of a potter's wheel. As it is said: Who, with the view that examines all causes of faults, burns firewood; the place of distinction between self and others, eradicates all faults, in faultlessness; with faultless compassion and wisdom, like a magical person, is diligent in activities; by the power of past aspirations, turns like a wheel and engages in activities. Merely entering into samadhi and abiding in it will accomplish the desired benefit of sentient beings, this is certain. As it is said: Merely by the abiding of the noble one, it is like a wish-fulfilling jewel; relying on walls, etc., the desired things will appear. As it appears, and similarly, meditative equipoise and non-meditative equipoise, wherever they do not change their aim, yoga

The inexhaustible state of merit and position, that is the state of union. This is because it is said below. Now, let's analyze this here: Are these five stages practiced by one yogi or by five yogis? If one person practices, then at the end of the Vajra recitation, he will attain the fruit, and the second stage and so on will be meaningless. Because the recitation of neither male nor female is luminosity itself. If five people practice, then luminosity will become different, which is also undesirable because it is non-dual. The difference in methods is not to accomplish the difference in suchness. If it is said that the tantras of action and so on are taught, that is also not correct. Because the tantras of action and so on do not teach suchness as the main thing. If they mainly have suchness, then it is not reasonable to teach the tantras from top to bottom. The teaching of the tantras of action and so on is for the first entry, which is said for guidance, but not for the ultimate meaning. Therefore, how should we abide here? It is said: Here, these five stages are the realm of one person, not five. Enlightenment is also one, although there are many methods, it should not be different, like rain. For example, rain falls from the sky blocked by clouds in summer, although it is the same, if it falls on a sugarcane tree it becomes sweet, if it falls on wormwood and so on it becomes bitter, if it is drunk by a snake it becomes poison. Similarly, although luminosity is the only one, those who abide in the action tantra only grasp the form of the deity, those who abide in the conduct tantra grasp through various playful actions, and those who abide in the yoga tantra grasp through the differences of mantras, mudras, and samadhi. Those who abide in the Mahayoga tantra will grasp suchness through the differences of the generation stage and the completion stage. Among them, some through the differences of the three samadhis

And, some consider the body to be completely empty, some consider speech to be completely so, some consider the mind to be completely empty, some consider the conventional truth to be completely empty, some consider the ultimate truth to be completely empty, some through relying on non-abiding nirvana, some through the yoga of six limbs such as individual gathering, and some through subtle yoga and meditating on bindus, they will be regarded as suchness and elaborated. As it is said: These dharmas are indicated by merely expressing sounds, here neither dharma nor sound signify anything. Having entered the one true path, touch the unsurpassed patience. Such statements arise for this reason. Therefore, the tenet here is just this, for the yogi who is in the stage of a beginner, the vajra master who inquires about the mandala of the glorious Guhyasamaja ritual, should enter any of the mandalas such as the heart vajra. The initiation should be performed with the order of requesting vows and precepts as the preliminary, and with initiations of non-regression, secret, wisdom, and prajna. And the meditation of the deity that one desires should be given. Then, that disciple should go to a place where there are no people, and first, for the sake of the body being completely empty, he should meditate on the generation stage, which is mainly the three samadhis, and again, by looking at the signs by reaching the ultimate in it. In order to purify speech completely, he should meditate on the vajra recitation sequence. Then, in order to make the mind completely empty, he should meditate on the sequence of focusing on the mind, and abide in the illusion-like samadhi through the sequence of blessing oneself. Through the sequence of desire, detachment from desire, and burning with desire, he enters into manifest enlightenment. And through the sequence of union, he actualizes non-abiding nirvana. In order to become a Buddha and benefit all sentient beings, he will go from Buddha-field to Buddha-field. The meditator is not five persons, but one person. For example, it is said in the seventh chapter of the glorious Guhyasamaja.
