It is like a person who meditates on the suchness of the earth. Because there, each chapter is not a different practitioner, but the only person who meditates on the two stages explained in the seventeen chapters. Among them, the intermittent manifestation of light for Vajra recitation and so on is also to show that it pervades it, and it will not become without other stages just by that, because the final stage is to complete the work from emptiness. On this, in the "Compendium of Practice Lamp," the noble Deva has elaborated in detail with the metaphor of proficiency in archery, which should be understood from there. Now these will be explained. Here, who is the empowered person? It is said: They are the people who follow the Dharma, like precious jewels. Because there are two kinds of people, those who follow faith and those who follow the Dharma. Among them, there are four kinds of followers of faith, such as sandalwood and so on. Among them, sandalwood is the inferior faculty, উৎপལ་ (Sanskrit, utpala, blue lotus) is the medium faculty, white lotus is the श्रेष्ठ (Sanskrit, śreṣṭha, excellent) faculty, and lotus is the same. The follower of Dharma is the only person like a precious jewel. The characteristics of these are explained in the "Lamp Illuminating," and should be understood from there. Among them, like a precious jewel, the one who fulfills all the wishes of all sentient beings is the person like a precious jewel. Or, only the virtues of discipline and so on are priceless, so it is a precious jewel, and the one who has these is called a precious jewel. As it is said: "Possessing discipline and giving without stinginess, possessing wisdom and being unique, having heard and truly proclaiming, is a well-known precious person." Therefore, the first followers of faith are the vessels for explaining the generation stage. The followers of Dharma are those who have become the vessels of the completion stage. Brief meaning of the Fifth Stage.
