Its nature is unique, and all things arise and perish simultaneously, hence they can be seen. Those who speak of karma also do so because of the influence of the investigations of the ignorant, but in reality there is no karma, because it is connected with the mind and is momentary, how can there be the power of karma? Similarly, karma also depends on the agent, if the agent and karma are separate, there is no karma, and if karma is separate, there is no agent, because they are mutually dependent, so neither is established. If everything is done by God, then why does He not make everything good or bad? If God has the power to create all kinds of things, then only power is the agent, not God, because their relationship has already been negated. Its kinds, destiny, and merit should also be understood as before, and such things are completely separated and abandoned from all things that can be harmed by measurement. If the Hearers think that this is the case, then the aggregates of beings are their nature. The Blessed One also said that "all" means the five aggregates, the twelve sense bases, and the eighteen elements. If they say this, it is also unreasonable, because only consciousness can manifest these, and in reality there is no external object. Similarly, what is manifest is existent, and what is not manifest is non-existent. Forms and so on are also non-existent because they do not manifest themselves. What is manifest in essence? It is consciousness, so beings are only of its nature. If external objects were truly existent, then the appearance of the mind would not be different for a single corpse of a dead woman. The woman's body is unique, and is seen as a corpse, a desired object, and food. Dogs with desire generate three different discriminations. Therefore, the aggregates and so on are non-existent, and the Blessed One said this in order to guide the Hearers. Therefore, the aggregates, elements, and sense bases are abandoned and separated from them. Yoga practice

If someone says that all conditioned and unconditioned phenomena are merely appearances of consciousness, and that everything possesses the nature of consciousness, this is also unreasonable. What is consciousness? Consciousness is that which cognizes, so what does consciousness cognize? If it is said that consciousness can only grasp its own image, then, since consciousness is separate from one and many, consciousness does not exist, and neither does the grasper. Furthermore, can past, future, or present things generate consciousness? Past things cannot generate consciousness because they have already ceased. Future things also cannot because they have not yet been obtained, so they do not appear. Present things also cannot generate consciousness because they are momentary and already possess the nature of both. Even if they could generate consciousness, would they do so simultaneously or gradually? If gradually, then things are momentary, so when things cease, how can consciousness arise in dependence on them? If simultaneously, then what is related to what? Why does consciousness not generate things? Therefore, the grasper and the grasped are both abandoned. If this is the case, what is the nature of bodhicitta? It is said in the scriptures that the selflessness of all phenomena, such as the five aggregates, is that which is not self. Identical to this is that which pervades all. The nature of the three consciousnesses—mind, mental factors, and the nature of ignorance—is that one's own mind has not arisen from the very beginning, which is selflessness. It abandons arising, ceasing, and abiding, and is free from the views of permanence and annihilation. Therefore, emptiness is that everything is empty, and this is the fourth reality. With the bodhicitta of its own nature, I should meditate—these are just extra words. After the disciple recites the mantra of bodhicitta, they should offer a mandala with folded hands at the feet of the teacher, which is ultimate. After that, one should think of offering land. Then, one should offer suitable offerings to the lama: precious houses, elephants, land, horses, and bedding, etc.
