It is explained according to the intention. Similarly, the meaning is to understand desire, hatred, and delusion. Analyzing desire, etc., that is, analyzing desire and non-desire, etc., and then reciting, that is, contemplating that one should liberate sentient beings from desire, hatred, and delusion. That itself is the nature of the purification of desire, etc., therefore it is without self-nature. Because it is the nature of constant, stainless, and undefiled bliss, it is good. The Buddhas of the three times are the sentient beings dwelling in the three realms. Examination is the analysis of their pure nature. That is the vajra, that is, it is said to be recited with desire, etc., that is, the recitation of desire, the recitation of hatred, and the recitation of delusion, which is explained according to the intention. The understanding of meaning is that deities and mantras are essentially one. Reciting it is to repeatedly familiarize oneself with it. Therefore, it is without self-nature, that is, abandoning manifest clinging, and it is good, that is, benefiting sentient beings in a joyful sequence, the Buddhas of the three times, that is, the examination of beings, that is, fulfilling all wishes. That is the Ratnasambhava recitation of the nature of the indivisible space treasury like a vajra, that is, it is said to be the Ratnasambhava recitation, which is explained according to the intention. The understanding of meaning is the activity of embracing all beings, the wisdom of diligently accomplishing it. That is the recitation, that is, the activity of the characteristics of ripening and liberation, etc., based on it. That is without self-nature, it is the nature of the purification of the three spheres, it is good, that is, without grasping, the Buddhas of the three times, that is, the examination of body, speech, and mind, etc., that is, the examination of its own nature. That is the recitation, that is, it is said to be the recitation of meaningfulness. The recitation of meaningfulness is explained according to the intention. The understanding of meaning is all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas who know all things, that is, with the thought that they should hear it in any way, reciting the words of the mantra clearly with faith, that is the recitation of understanding meaning.

Absence of inherent existence, which is the noble ground of abandoning conceptualization, which is the mind examining the Buddhas of the three times, which is whatever is recited focusing on them. That is the recitation of the wrathful ones who are as firm as a vajra. It is the vajra recitation and is called the wrathful one's recitation. This is the wrathful one's recitation, spoken according to intention. Understanding the meaning is life and effort, etc. Reciting after abandoning direction, place, time, color, and shape is the recitation of understanding the meaning. Therefore, it is devoid of all aspects, hence it is without inherent existence. Because it is peaceful, it is noble. The three times are entering, abiding, and arising. The Buddhas are the winds. Examining them, which is understanding that all is emptiness, is the vajra recitation, said to be the recitation of a hermaphrodite. This is the recitation of a hermaphrodite, spoken according to intention. Thus, there are eleven types of vajra recitation. Now, another distinction of that. Eating alms, one does not recite; one should not delight in alms. Enjoying all desires, one recites without impairing the limbs of the mantra. Thus it is said, the meaning is this. Eating alms, that is, one should not act with a base mind. One should not delight in alms, that is, one should be content with finding any food, one should not be attached to food. Reciting without impairing the limbs of the mantra, that is, without different divine yogas. At that time, the yogi will enjoy all desires, which is the straightforward meaning. Or, alms are letters with different aspects. Eating that, that is, uttering that, therefore one should not recite. One should not delight in alms, that is, one should not delight in external food, but one should abide by the food of meditation, that is the summary of this. Without impairing the limbs of the mantra, that is, the mantra that has abandoned the conceptualization of the three letters as different. Enjoying all desires, that is, reciting as if enjoying the five desirable qualities, this is the definitive meaning. It is said to be a summary statement, that is, a statement from the root tantra that elicits the very nature of mantra.
