Because it generates joy, it is Bhagavan (Tibetan: བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་, Sanskrit Devanagari: भगवत्, Sanskrit Romanization: bhagavat, Chinese literal meaning: Possessor of Bhagavat), which is the outer meaning. Bhagavan (Tibetan: བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་, Sanskrit Devanagari: भगवत्, Sanskrit Romanization: bhagavat, Chinese literal meaning: Possessor of Bhagavat) abides in the form of the mind of enlightenment, hence it is Bhagavan (Tibetan: བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་, Sanskrit Devanagari: भगवत्, Sanskrit Romanization: bhagavat, Chinese literal meaning: Possessor of Bhagavat), which is the hidden meaning. Non-dual wisdom is vanquishing, and because it is associated with that, it is Bhagavan (Tibetan: བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་, Sanskrit Devanagari: भगवत्, Sanskrit Romanization: bhagavat, Chinese literal meaning: Possessor of Bhagavat), which is the ultimate meaning. Great Vajradhara follows, hence Vairochana is the great Vairochana. Because of knowing and realizing the three wisdoms, it is Thupa (Sage), which is the hidden meaning. Vajrapani praised "Excellent!" and spoke these words. Because the question is supreme, he gave three answers. The inconceivable meaning, that is, the Suchness of all mantras, the ultimate truth, the Suchness of mantras should be explained and spoken. The meaning of "well distinguished" is not only the Suchness of mantras, but also the collection of mantras, the meaning of mantras, and the symbolism of mantras should be explained, which is the meaning of the letters. First, a brief instruction is given: "What is called expression and indication, symbolism and ultimate meaning." Expression, because it is collected from the root letters, is expression, that is, the collection of mantras. Through the door of expression, one understands and indicates the nature of what is to be expressed, hence indication is the meaning of the mantra. Symbolism is the name. Ultimate meaning is Suchness, that is, as it sounds. Explanation is the common expression of words, indication is the Buddha himself. What is called "symbolism is the mantra, ultimate meaning is Suchness." Thus it was said. Common, such as essence and near essence, etc., and all scriptures such as mundane and supramundane, the root letters that pervade like a thread in a garland of jewels, from which mantras are collected. That is the expression of words, that is, the collection of mantras, as it sounds. What is called indication is the Suchness of the Buddhas such as Vairochana, that is, the self-nature. The meaning of Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओं, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Om) and so on are, in order, the body vajra and so on. Likewise, the meaning of the root letters is also divided into vowels and consonants, that is, skillful means and wisdom. Likewise, others as well.

ka kha ga gha nga,ca cha ja jnya nya,Ta Tha Da Dha Na,ta tha da dha na,pa pha ba bha ma,ya ra la wa,sha sha sa ha,这样就是九。

These should also be known, this is the general meaning. What is called "expression" is mantra. What is called "expression" is the name of mantra, such as transformation, headless, endless, gathering, and so on. The detailed distinctions of these should be understood from the differences in activities, that is, as their pronunciation. What is called "ultimate meaning" is Suchness, it should be known that it is the clear light free from all elaborations. What is called "ultimate meaning" is the ultimate. Now explain separately. First, one is in the middle of nine, what is not bound by ten, that is called unbound, now know the supreme place. Thus it is said, one is temporarily referring to the letter A (ཨཱ). It itself is the first, the source from which all feminine letters arise. The Sutra of the Meaning of True Names says: "A is the most supreme of all letters." Therefore, nine refers to the class of feminine letters, residing in the nature of being pervasive. Without it, it cannot be pronounced, just like without a vowel. There are two types of vowel classes: a i u ri li e o aṃ are the short vowel class. ā ī ū rī lī ai au āḥ are the long vowel class. ka kha ga gha nga, ca cha ja jnya nya, Ta Tha Da Dha Na, ta tha da dha na, pa pha ba bha ma, ya ra la wa, sha sha sa ha, thus there are nine. So, what is in the middle of these nine classes? It is bound by ten, that is, these nine classes and itself. Not being bound means not being pervaded by them, but it pervades them. Which yogi knows it, that is unbound, that is, knows and understands all the mantra collections bound by the letter A. That yogi is the supreme place, because he knows the Suchness of the three letters arising from it, this is the meaning of the letters. Temporarily, one is the Dharmakaya, the nature of emptiness of all phenomena. Nine refers to being in the middle of the five aggregates and the four great elements, but not being bound by ten, that is, not being bound and obscured by the conceptual thoughts of the senses and objects, because the Dharmakaya is naturally pure. That is unbound, that is, not overcome by the conceptual thoughts of afflictions and cognitive obscurations.

That yogi who knows without being overcome is the supreme state, the Buddha who is the nature of the Dharmakaya. Knowing is the meaning of realizing and attaining, which is the common meaning. Or, for a moment, one is the voice of the Bhagavan Dragon, which is the seed syllable of the Vajradhara of the heart. (Hūṃ, Sanskrit: हूँ, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: hūṃ, literal Chinese meaning: 吽) That is nine, which is the four mandalas of the nature of earth, water, fire, and wind, as well as the hidden places of square, round, triangular, and bow-like shapes, and the heart, navel, and secret place, eight in all, and the ninth is the Hūṃ that dwells in the head and so on. With ten, that is, those and oneself. Not bound is not entering the path of distinguishing by the order of the winds. Such is this unbound, and whoever knows by the recitation of self-purification is the supreme state, the reality that has abandoned entering and so on. Knowing is the meaning of manifesting, which is the common meaning. In the Inquiry of the Dharmadhatu, it is also said: The headless dwells in the lotus of the heart, the head dwells in the lotus of speech, the sound dwells in the secret lotus, the limit of sound dwells in the lotus of the navel. Or, one is momentarily the umbrella of desire, which is the root. That itself is the first, because it begins from the gate of Brahma and pervades up to the secret place. Nine, pervading in the center with the eight-petaled lotus and the navel. With ten, that is, those nine channels and oneself are not bound, because it is the nature of co-emergence, and it is not to be defiled by faults such as desire. Therefore, it is unbound, not mixed with desires and so on. Knowing is the yogi who experiences great bliss when method and wisdom enter equally and follow it. That is the supreme state, knowing and attaining the state of Vajrasattva, which is hidden. One is momentarily luminosity, which is the first because it is supreme. Because of the desire realm and the four dhyanas and the four formless realms, in the center of the ninth cycle, although it abides by the nature of reality, relying on that reality, in an instant from that
