It is for the sake of dispelling (doubts). Or, (in the twelve links of dependent origination) the limbs that belong to the cause and the limbs that belong to the result, namely ignorance, formation, craving, grasping, and existence, these are the cause. The rest are the result. The so-called "they believe" refers to the Madhyamikas who believe that the twelve limbs have no self-nature. Thus, through the way of no self-nature, the limbs, etc., that is, the existence and grasping of the previous life, from this ignorance arises. From ignorance, formation arises. From formation, consciousness arises up to feeling, these five. Then craving and grasping arise. From this, existence arises. From this, the birth and old age and death of the previous life arise. Regarding this, the *Abhidharmakosha* says: "Afflictions arise from afflictions, actions also arise from actions, and again from actions afflictions arise, this is the system of the limbs of existence." Where does it revolve? On the path of existence, that is, the desire realm, etc., the six realms of existence revolve. Or, in the intermediate state, it revolves in the existence of the previous life's birth and death. Whatever karma, result, feeling, and belief, other than that there is no sentient being. The so-called "mind arises from the law of dependent origination" is a synonym for the heretics' fabricated person, like the *pudgala*, who does not experience the karma of cause and effect. The so-called "from this" refers to those, because they are the objects of action. What kind of stream of dependent origination are they? For example, as the mirror and the outline of the face are connected, an image immediately appears, except that there is no visible stream between the face and the mirror. Therefore, it does not arise, because the face does not enter the mirror. However, it is not possible without it, because without the two, how can the image arise? For example, the so-called "arising from this" refers to arising from the power of afflictions and karma. The so-called "between existence" refers to the gap between the existence of death and the existence of birth. What is connected is the intermediate state. The meaning is that, just like this, without a transmitter in the middle, through the power of dependent origination without self-nature, it is a synonym for being born in this life and the next. The meaning is that even if it does not arise. The so-called "wise person" refers to one who is proficient in the sixty-two realms. Or, the *Tathagata*, that is, the all-knowing.

Possessing the wisdom of dependent arising and emptiness. They have determined the meaning of the unmoving birth, that is, it has been determined. If asked, how do these arise with the same nature? The answer is, emptiness, etc., that is, it has been determined. In the ultimate truth, from the nature of emptiness, such as ignorance, arises the nature of emptiness, such as action. Therefore, karma and result, etc., that is, in the karma of cause and effect, the feeler and the felt are the characteristics of the conventional, but in the ultimate truth, this is not the meaning taught by the Victorious Ones. Thus, after explaining the inner dependent arising, now the outer is explained, that is, "this also" etc. This refers to the vessel world. Born from relationship refers to being born from the interconnected dependent arising that has a relationship. For example, in the ultimate truth, it is naturally born from the common karma of cause and effect. Its example is, like sprouts etc. Although it does not exist in any form of seeds etc. and skin etc., it arises due to different relationships, similarly, the inner and outer dharmas are also the same. Therefore, what is it like in the ultimate truth? Like illusions etc. Among them, the external is the dharma created by accumulation, the form aggregate, because it is the characteristic of the interconnected dependent arising that has a relationship. If it is said that it is unreasonable for the dharma of cause and effect to arise from nothing like this, then, starting from "all dharmas", that is, the dharmas of aggregates etc., in the conventional, there is no contradiction in arising from one's own seed or cause. Why? Because the cause is also emptiness, that is, whatever becomes the cause of all dharmas, the nature of that cause is not established, therefore it is without self-nature. For example, the cause of action, ignorance, is the result of the cause of craving and grasping in the previous life. Similarly, the cause of consciousness, action, is the result of ignorance. Thus, since it appears as the nature of cause and effect on one thing, it is only dependent arising, the cause itself is this, the nature of this. Thus, the dharma arising from the cause without self-nature, know that it is unborn. Because where there is a cause, there is birth. Thus, unborn
