Because it is considered to be self-nature. For the Buddha with such merits, it is the wisdom of knowing emptiness. That is its meaning. Therefore, the Bodhisattva should practice. What is said as "all dharmas" etc., is because the place of all dharmas is the nature of the aggregates etc. Peace is because the initial goodness etc. is the nature of auspiciousness. No place is to understand that the antidote and the unfavorable qualities are without self-nature. The rest has been said. However, "unborn emptiness" etc., there are no other dharmas such as aggregates, and emptiness is cognition. What is called without object means that mind and mental factors are not objects. The dull-witted are those who have heard little or are beginners. Therefore, that is not practice. It means that emptiness is the antidote to everything. It is not practiced by the practitioner. Thus, in the Root Wisdom Treatise, it is said: "By cutting off all views, the Victorious One said it is emptiness. Whoever has the view of emptiness, he is difficult to cure." What is the nature of emptiness without mind? It is goodness etc. Goodness is the opposite of evil, that is, abandoning killing etc. Or, like using wisdom as sharp as the tip of Kusha grass, it is good, and the opposite of this is bad. Knowing these two as their respective nature is the distinction between good and bad thoughts. These causal dependent origination continuums are constant. Also, because it arises and ceases every moment, it is said to be the nature of annihilation. Thus, the Buddha said that the similar good and bad are not different, that is, emptiness. Therefore, one does not want anything other than emptiness, that is, all views do not want anything other than the dependent origination of good and bad in the mundane. Thus, what is the nature of the empty mind that is not different from the mundane? With the unexpressed mind, abiding is the nature of the sky.

E! The mind without meaning, which is expressed by the words "being" and "non-being," exists in accordance with the nature of the sky. For example, the world uses the term "sky." Ultimately, it is like the nature of no self-nature. Therefore, meditating on the sky is the same as wanting to meditate on emptiness. Understanding is realizing the meaning. Therefore, it is also said in the Prajna Sutra, "Subhuti! Meditating on the sky is meditating on the Perfection of Wisdom." Thus, since being inseparable from all conventional dharmas is emptiness, therefore, the dharma spoken by those who hold views based on emptiness is emptiness, such as the so-called emptiness and so on. Among them, emptiness is a lion, just as a lion can frighten wild animals, all those who advocate reality are the discourses of non-Buddhists and so on. Therefore, non-Buddhists assert that internal and external things are real, while the two types of Shravakas assert that external things are real. The Mind-Only school asserts that it is only consciousness. Whatever views are similar to this, those views are also without self-nature. Thus, after generally proclaiming that views are emptiness, it is also proclaimed that the Mind-Only school alone is the nature of emptiness, that is, the so-called "any consciousness" and so on. Any practitioner of the Mind-Only school, whose consciousness arises and ceases in an instant, that consciousness is not constant, because all instants are impermanent. Therefore, "The impermanent mind does not contradict emptiness," because impermanence and emptiness are not different, but have the same meaning. Thus, even the view of the Mind-Only school must admit that only consciousness is empty. Furthermore, other consciousnesses, the impermanence of the mind, etc., all four views agree that the mind arises and ceases in an instant. The four views among them refer to the Vaibhashika school and so on, because taking refuge in the Three Jewels, and asserting no-self and impermanence are the same. Therefore, the so-called "they" and so on, that is to say, those four view holders are all sick, so it is reasonable to admit that the mind is empty. Furthermore, the reasoning stated by the Madhyamaka school is: "Things are without self-nature, the mind is established at all times."
